I was searching for how to do a black smokey eye for a Gatsby 1920s party I'm going to and this is perfect! Really gorgeous (& much better than all the Gatsby specific tutorials I've watched) I particularly love your tip to place the black shadow just beneath the crease then blend up because I've always had problems with my darker/crease shade getting too high & getting muddy. This was the main reason I was looking at tutorials - I figured going black would exacerbate my problem so thank you so much! I don't have any gel liner like you use so I probably won't get that intense darkness you've got but I'm going to give it a try!
I need help in different aspects of my look. Most importantly I would love to see a tutorial on foundation/concealer so it doesn't get so cakey. I have over a few hours horrible "caking"
