Grace is my mum’s favourite actress and it makes me tear up When I see or hear about her as my beloved mum passed away suddenly during the height of the pandemic from pneumonia. I spent many a day of my childhood with my mum watching all of Grace Kelly’s movies finally enough dial M for murder and Hi society were my mum’s favourites. My mum was often called a Grace Kelly lookalike and while I was being born there was a fight over if I was a girl whether I’d be called Sophia ( after Sophia Lorren my dad‘s favourite actress) or Grace, for three days I had no name as they fought over which name I’d be called. Mum just decided at the last minute if it’s not going to be Grace then it’d be none of them. So she named me Sarah and of course my dad chose Sophia for my middle name. I’m so glad I was called neither of them because that’s a lot of pressure & a big legacy to live up to, Lol. It’s interesting because I am a Scorpio the same as Grace and I am very fair and blonde but I am my own person and that’s good enough for me. I love listening to you talk about the lives of these iconic actresses who paved the way for other women. You have such a softness and presence that draws people in it and I love that about you. I could listen to you for days.
