Last year I was in the same situation so I binge watched "signs you should quit" and "why I quit my corporate job", "signs of burnout", etc. videos. At that time I still didn't have hope that I could actually make this a reality. But I needed to watch other people tell the reasons why they left so I can see if I "fit the bill". Awww thank you for watching Ranfy!!! I appreciate your comment. 😊 Once I realized a change needed to be made in my life, it took me 7-8 months to put in my resignation. Before I did, I explored other options in the bank and in the industry at other companies but at the end of the day knew leaving the corporate world was the right thing to do for me.
Thank you so much for posting such authentic content, I related to so much of it and was crying and laughing at various points. I had brain fog after Covid, I got the vicious strain that was circulating NYC in Feb 2020, and it was interesting to hear the connection to the lymph node. And thank you also for raising awareness on self-harm, I know I hit a low in April 2020 and would imagine many other people did too. I got a semi-colon tattoo in July 2020, which was as soon as tattoo parlors reopened, because I do think it's important for people to know they're not alone so thanks for using your platform to speak to that.
