Thanks a lot for this comparison! The use of USB-C instead of USB-mini is what makes it worth it to me to pay just a little bit extra for the GBX45. It's basically futureproof and an added bonus of not having to use multiple cables now that everything's USB-C
Thanks I just pick me one up using your link. Wasn't sure which one to order and came here to see the difference and I had to go with the GBX45 just because of the newer charging cable. I use that type of cords the most, so I always have one handy. Thanks again.
I loved my GB40 until the lithium battery pouch fried. I think storing in the back of my SUV over the 7 years of owning was hard on the battery? I took another chance with NOCO and bought a GBX75 and crossing my fingers that the charging issue doesn’t come up. I also own a charger for them and I’ve gifted a few chargers too.
@@JV-wl6exI think the issues others are saying is that if you allow the gbx battery level to get too low, it won’t accept a charge to get it charged back up. Just check it once in awhile and keep it charged periodically and you shouldn’t have any issue.

Stupid that they just can’t keep all USBs the same. More money for nothing
Just bought a gb40 from Amazon and they've updated to usb c
@@Wind_slash0agreed. My GB40 has USB-C in for charging also. Great revision to an already great jumper.
They updated the GB40! They listened! I hate micro.
Thank you. Really helpful video. Was having a hard time deciding whether to choose the GB40 or GBX45, and your video really helped.

Good review USB-C is king so has to be the GBX for me. Although on Reddit someone saying avoid GBX's as they break down... One persons review..
I thought this was going to be an example of how well each jumper pack actually works when hooked up to a dead battery.
I expect that I was not the only one that was expecting a real comparison.
Just returned my GB50 for a GBX45 I think the fast charging makes it a no brainer
Thank you
The GBX series has a well-known issue with recharging the unit, that the GB does not have. There are videos on this so check them out before you buy
I just bought a GBX75. What is the issue charging the GBX series? Hearing this makes me nervous.
@JV-wl6ex Search reviews of the GBX on RUclips or Google. Lots of info there

Thank you!
How odd, my GB40 came with USB-C port, not micro USB...
Thanks!
Thanks
For $25 more, might as well go for the gb45🤷🏻♂️
I really like the snowflake indicator. This lets you know if the device is overly sensitive or needs special treatment for no valid reason. 🙂
Is it worth owning?😊
yes
The bag is horrible. Less expensive jumper boxes come with a protective case. Only complaint I have with them.
Not a good idea to turn it on before it's connected to the battery! 💥
then how do you use it to charge other devices?
@@ArcturusAlpha you turn it on afterwards, Alpha.
nice
It's not boost it's manual override
