Getting Zero On Your Hazard Perception? Do This To Get Your Fives and Fours

  • Are you still getting zero on your hazard perception? Even though your seeing the hazard. Well, do this method that I'll show you in this video to get your fives and fours and pass with flying colours.
    I recommend watching driving lessons video's on RUclips; I'm a big believer in visual content, as visualisation is vastly underrated. I recommend that you have a few driving lessons in the area you will have your driving test, regardless of which DVSA driving test centre you use.
    With the waiting time for the driving test at its all-time high, you need to stack the cards in your favour to give you the best possible chance of passing.
    I hope you get some value from this video.
    Thanks for watching

    I passed Hazzard Perception, it was multiple choice I failed by 5 points. So that's my main area I'm going to work on. They don't ask questions about how you maintain a car, which they used to years ago. There wasn't a theory test either. That was over 40 years ago. Health restrictions are new, which is good. I found the test centre intimidating and disorientating, the restriction a bit over the top. I understand why they are there though. I guess I'll be watching a lot of your videos for the next few weeks until my next test.

I get the PDI's I've taught over the years to use it as well. That's the driving test success, otherwise known as the 4 in 1 app. Go into the settings and change the questions to ADI Instructor then your set. If you want any help or advice let me know. Especially when you get to the part two and three. Good luck.

    @7:24-7:30, "I am not going to click on the brake lights because my speed was already constant" - Could you please elaborate it further ? Is it a must you have to slow down, only if you are accelerating and Don't I need to react other's brake light if it is closer ?

    • @DRIVINGTHEORYUK
      @DRIVINGTHEORYUK  Год назад +1

      I already checked my mirrors/clicked for the speed limit, and my speed didn't change for the brake lights. Which meant I was aware of what was happening behind me. If there were no speed limit signs or I didn't check my mirror/click, I would need to check once I saw the brake lights to have updated info.
      Pro coding I've re-read your question. Are you relating it to the video? If yes, then the explanation above is fine. If you are about real-life driving, you should check your mirrors if you see brake lights. Whether you slow down or not will depend on how fast you are going.
      The video and real life are two different things. The hazard perception is trying to get you into the habit of checking mirrors.
      Don't overthink the hazard perception, don't click on things that don't exist, and you'll be fine. Hopefully, that helped.
      If not, get back to me.

      @@DRIVINGTHEORYUK Thank you for your explanation! Just here to say thank you for this video. The youtube channel of The famous app(4 in 1) everyone using here in UK(including you), in their hazard preparation video they say 'Just 3 click technique', what they missed was they did not say "whenever you feel it might be a hazard". I followed their advice just 3 days ago but scoring was around 45-50. After seeing this video (including people comments who passed with high score using this video recently - you also mentioned your students followed this technique) I used your technique. Passed first time, MCQ 49/50, Hazard 67/75. Once Again Thank you Dorian.
