A high caliber actor who is also a high caliber performer will be very interesting to see play Moon Knight. His dedication to the fight choreography alone is amazing.

I cosplayed as Moon Knight for Comic Con back in 2016... I'm so excited to see my favorite Marvel character on the screen (I seriously hope this series is good!)
I love seeing him train so hard. Dedicating to the role.
It would be easy to deligate most of the physical work to the stunt crew with that kind of costume.
As a fight fan, I really can appreciate Oscar's stunts here. I love that spinning back fist and the arm bar into an omoplata! I just read everything about this character on the marvel wiki and I can tell im gonna LOOOVEE this series. Cant wait

... Winter Soldier and Captain America have already done it. And Daredevil. And Punisher. Honestly, beating up and killing crowds of random bad guys is pretty common place in the Marvel universe in general. John Wick would probably be a street level hero, like Punisher, Daredevil, and Spider-Man.

Or do you think those soldiers he shot (TFA and Avengers) or those guys he threw off the ship (TWS), or all the aliens he fought (IW and EG) and helped snap away *survived?* He's a soldier, first and foremost. A *SUPER* soldier. Which basically means he does what a soldier does, only better. MCU Cap most definitely has a body count. So does comic Cap. You don't win a world war by pulling punches, dude. That's pretty naive thinking.
@@lincolnpascual yes in the first avenger he was killing because he was a soldier who does his own duty, but rest of the marvel movies he didn't kill anyone except aliens because they are so dangerous and these types can eat humans so he doesn't have any chance except killing Steve Rogers isn't a killing machine like deadpool or punisher. He is a hero who likes to save others lives even if he is a villain. John Walker could be a killer because in the falcon and the winter soldier tv show he got out his gun and he killed one of the flag smashers and that's a thing steve didn't do in his movies because a one who carries a gun without any war reasons is a criminal like john wick.

I know it may seem silly but given how modern culture it will probably be more silver/gray because all white kind of looks like a KKK robe and you know everybody’s kind of politically correct especially Disney

Not only that but it appears that they are making Marc latino, since a recent casting said that they wanted a latino and Latina Jewish, some speculated that it could be for Marc's parents. I don't know if they will make him Guatemalan but as a latino I'm hyped for it

The way John Wick was executed was unique in its own right, but the fighting techniques he uses have been seen in many other films before (and yes, a mixture of them). So? And aside from the fact that they’re literally only training for the series in this footage (not shooting anything official for it), a number of films have been inspired by John Wick ever since it came out. It’s like with The Matrix to an extent (ya know it, huh? Hehe). So what’s the problem with inspiration? (Rhetorical, I know where you’re coming from.) The execution is ultimately all that matters, but okay.

@@rogue7138 It’s a combination of Marc’s fight scenes too, and some of these might even be deleted ones but most of these are Steven’s. Watch the final episode when they’re fighting against Arthur.

@@rohanalias9053 I think Oscar will be fine honestly as far as build. In some iterations Moon Knight is ripped and in others he’s more slim. Daredevil in the 80s or 90s was super buff but was toned down. Which made his cast on his Netflix series great.

I really love the effort that Oscar Isaac is putting into this and I love the whole Krav Maga, Jiu Jitsu, and capoeira style that it looks like they're going for with the action.

I'm really feeling this trailer. It looks like Disney had an epiphany when they decided to cancel those Netflix series and create their own on their platform.
Although Walt Disney studios owns marvel it wasn't Disney's decision, it was Kevin feige at marvel studios.
Yeah I'm pretty certain The Moon Knight Series is targeted to fans of the Marvel Netflix shows... Kevin Keige himself has said Moon Knight will have the darkest tone the MCU has done yet.

Kinda disappointed the combat wasn't more like this in the show but that's just me.
The brute street like fighting and the use of weapons Oscar is doing some moves. Given MoonKnight’s... nature. I hope they fully deliver with it being R violent or at least tfatws episode 3 edging on the pg13.
I have more hope for that now. Wasnt sure before but a lot of these moves and finishers do 'look' rated R
@@lucaspoon4202 yeah the gun to head finisher especially. Pg movies cut away from the violence so it could be that but the thing about the fist fighting is that it reminded me of the netflix shows and the batman movies. I don’t want to get your hopes up tho.

I feel bad for the choreographers. All their work is unrecognizable in the show because of how poorly marvel studios editors chopped it up.
I love it when actor, writer production are handling a picture with care and attention.
Disney and everyone involve with the shows are taking the right approach. I hope this continues across all of their offerings not just Star Wars and Marvel, Hulu, Star or 20th Century offerings too.

I knew Oscar Isaac had great potential from Drive, and then he killed Ex Machina. I used to read Moon Knight back in the Doug Moench and Bill Sienkiewicz days. This is almost too good to be true.
