Moon Knight features a complex vigilante who suffers from dissociative identity disorder. The multiple identities who live inside him are distinct characters who appear against a backdrop of Egyptian iconography.

Hopefully they don’t over edit these fight scenes because these full shots where you can see everything are so nice and let’s the performers shine
that'll boil down to the shooting schedule and the ability of the director/camera crew to capture the action on set/site. it looks like oscar isaac and the stunt crew are fully capable. but sometimes, and unfortunately, beautiful choreography and stuntwork are compromised due to poor camera work or time constraints to capture extended one-takes, and editors just have to do their best to cobble something salvageable from the available footage
thats what im worried about. oscar has to be atleast 70% in it. hopefully there wont be any cut scenes and shaky cams

I already had a lot of respect for Oscar Issac as an actor and performer but he took it to a new level in his portrayals throughout the show. Each alter is distinct even when he transitions between them rapidly.
I'm here after Moon Knight episode 6, and I want to Thank Oscar Isaac, for being such a great actor, it's masterpiece ❤😍
After seeing the gore and blood that marvel can do without making it R rated, I have no doubt that Marvel will not disappoint with moon knight

I love it when talented actors go above and beyond for exciting action scenes
The art of combat training for cinematic purposes is fascinating to me. I can only imagine how much more difficult it is to regular combat training. Not only do you have to learn the moves but you need to learn how to do them safely without making contact all e while making it look believable. Craziness. Then to add acting on top of all that? The dedication is real. So is the Disney money.
From having studied fight choreography for both stage and screen, I can tell you it takes a huge amount of concentration and awareness. The more complicated the fights, the more it takes agility and practice (like with the fights here where the combatants are in physical contact so often) but editing and camera placement can help tremendously. Place a camera behind an actor and the other actor they're punching or kicking could be up to 6 feet away and you'd never know it because from your perspective the other actor seems to be closer. Place the camera to their sides and you need to adjust the action and actor placement because you can now tell how far away the actors fighting are.

It’s not more difficult than combat training at all, you just learn the moves, it’s like dancing almost.
The contact part is not that hard. Camera angles gives you the illusion of close contact. The rest is coordinated choreography which takes practice and repetition

I love how they are training different fight styles for Isaacs. This is likely due to the Multiple Personality disorder that Moon Knight was known for where he could literally shift to the personality that fits a situation. And the combatant personalities all had different ways of fighting.

@@josephjahn2239You can do a surprisingly alot with PG13... I've seen John Wick edited for regular network TV and it didn't change anything for me. Dare Devil was unrated, but with just a tad less blood that is PG13. The Dark Knight, Winter Solider were PG13. Thor lopped off Thanos' head in End Game and just now on FaTWS the new cap just bashed a guys head in. So I fail to see your point. All I I care about is a good story, acting and exciting action for my favorite comic book character FINALLY getting his spot light. I wouldn't mind an "r" rating but there's no point complaining because, we are not getting it, and quite frankly I don't find it essential to the character.

It’s always nice when you see an actor/actress take their role seriously and actually train for the fight scenes unlike Finn Jones from Iron Fist.
Don’t blame Finn, it was the show runner that didn’t give him time to train properly

Back from the last episode and overall, THE SHOW IS AMAZING!! Sure, there might be flaws but to me it is a must watch.

One of the things I like about Moon Knight is whatever personality he’s in he fights like them, like mark Spector fights different to how Sam Grant would fight.

I have hope in Marvel but I am scared becoz Moon Knight is a very complex character and I feel if the series doesn't work out it might stain his image
No chance bro. I'm cautiously approaching this show knowing disney will disney the shit out of this. Moon knight is one of my favorites ever and I know this is probably his only shot at a major TV or movie. So gonna watch no matter what.
Disney need to stay out and learn from Star Wars, let the MCU do their thing.

I am just in awe about how he is doing all this and he is in his 40s, like that is amazing. I am so exited for Moon Knight for two reasons:
1. We haven't been introduced to this character in the MCU
2. I am a big fan of Oscar Isaac and I can't wait for him to be part of the MCU

Love it so far! Moon Knight is an exceptional fighter with very unique trends.. like NOT DODGING attacks and using various USMC line training techniques and finishers (head stomp - knee drop). Would love to see some "MCMAP" scattered in and around.
