very good editing Anupam. but performance has been greatly compromised to make everybody happy. art has been always about rigorous training. here there has been no screening of artists/performances. art should always be unbiased and determined only on the basis of performances. otherwise its injustice for the true artists who really train hard, not for fun. it is an irony since this a tribute to the great artist himself !

Poulamidi, thank you very much for watching and providing your constructive comments. We sincerely appreciate your point on giving priority to the quality of the art over the involvement of maximum number of participants as you pointed out the importance of screening. However, we would like to mention that none of the performers involved in this initiative are professional and as you know their main job is research. So, if we try to compete on the point of quality and content, it might be a bit difficult. As always, our aim was to highlight the collective effort we can put even at the time of hardship. For most of us, this was a first time experience to do something online and it was challenging for us from technical perspective also. I am sure everyone involved in this project has learned a lot while doing this. Nevertheless, we are agree with you that the platform of publishing our work required more perfection which we will surely take care next time.

It was firstly not meant as an insult or discouragement. The Q was never about being a professional or not, but it's more stressed upon the training n hard work. It seemed to be lacking in some. We very often give ourselves the excuse that our main job is something else but by that we actually deceive ourselves and lose the chance to Express ourselves the best way possible. I know many researchers who r great in other art forms n are self taught, difference is I believe in outlook. So the point is b a cruel self critic and not allow any cheating. :) one more thing kobi Pronam is about respect n gratitude towards art n the creations of the artist. For the 1st time I saw the presenters more highlighted than their art, generally an artist is known by the body of art not by the name. So that's why you have to be good at it. Putting names of presenters in a completely separate slide didnt make any sense to me. Editing arts n scientific works r done in different ways. So its imp Anupam how u present others performances in such slide shows.

Doing something for the very first time can't be an excuse for doing it bad. If we are not good at something we won't show it off and if we do we must welcome criticism. Platforms like youtube should be utilized wisely when it comes to present something on behalf of our institute. I agree with Poulami di, quality has been compromised and that happened to ensure maximum involvement from our friends. There is no other reason. If we get a chance , we would make a harder screening next time.

We always welcome every kind of criticism and it helps us to do better next time. We also have members in our snb family itself who are extremely particular about perfection of the art. I personally appreciate that importance of training and accepting criticism is a part of that. The point is, our aim was more to focus on the collective effort and it was not intended for competition. Ofcourse, there is always scope of improvement in presenting whatever we have in a best possible way. I agree that Hard work and being loyal to the art is important in this regard.

Poulami di, can you please clarify by screening which one do you recommend?
      1) Removing the performance.
      2) Tell them this is not very good, brush it up and send a better version within time. Or maybe sometimes we can loosen the deadline slightly as well.
