- Trekking to the Everest Base Camp had been part of my plans since 2019, but it was postponed a couple of times due to the pandemic. And finally, I was able to do it, and it was definitely worth the wait.
Everest Base Camp is located at the foothills of Mount Everest at an altitude of 5364m above sea level. The trek took us through the village of Phakding, and Namche Bazaar on the first 2 days. We had to go through forests, rivers, suspension bridges, and a 1000m brutal elevation gain up Namche Bazaar. Beyond Namche, we saw prominent peaks like Ama Dablam, Lhotse, Cholatse, Taboche, Pumori, and Nuptse. We stayed in the tiny villages of Deboche, Dingboche, Lobuche, and finally Gorak Shep.
The altitude was the biggest problem for some of us, including me, but we made it through. Watch me and my team walk through the Himalayas and see us finally reaching the Everest Base Camp in this silent hiking video.

Hey Ozzynium, I saw you walked. And you walked well prepared for physical and mental challanges. I also saw you walked to a beautiful destination with not so safe looking roads but with parallel green mountains.

Hello! Thank you so much! I used just a Nikon Z6ii with the 24-70 kit lens and an Insta360 X3 for this video, and my phone when I was too lazy to get both cameras running. 😅 I hope that helps.
