If Pete was still the head coach, we would lose both our first games for sure! It's nice to see us pull out those wins that we definitely would have lost the last 3 years. That's the whole reason we went from Carroll to Macdonald to win games like this! Just gotta keep getting better and better each week!
It’s very frustrating that our offense doesn’t run like the well oiled machine they’re supposed to. We MUST solidify the offensive line like we’ve been saying for a decade. Not a bad game considering the traveling & time zone and what that does to one’s body clock & potential impacts on their play… time to clean up some things and try to win the next game.
They played 2 good run defenses in a row
Through the first 2 games, our offense is a top 10 offense. Ranked 9th, to be exact. Geno Smith is playing lights out! Through the first 2 games, he hasn't had an off-target throw. That hasn't happened since 2021. If our o-line can start playing better, we definitely will have something special for sure!
Can't wait to see how Charles Cross graded out. Another terrific game from him.
Julian Love is looking like a tem captain and a huge assett for that secondary! Seahawks got the great safety play that they chased and shelled out big bucks for with Jamal Addams.

I would have liked to seen Kenny McIntosh as well but I understand his blocking is subpar and I'm thinking that's probably why he didn't get on the field with as much as we were getting blitzed and the pressure that Geno was getting I thought that our tackles played really well stone was good The middle of our offensive line rough
Everyone in defense, offense and special team deserves the pat on the back in this win. Geno Smith played a wonderful game today.
But the blocks in football are very underrated and very under-performed in the game of football. In basketball and volleyball, the blocks
are counted in the stat sheets as the significant component of the games. The block shots and blocking are huge part of their games.
If just one quarter of field goals and passing attempts can be blocked, the game of football will be changed forever.
The field goal block that Julian Love made at the end of game just literally won the game for the Seahawks. We would be talking about
1-1 Seahawks and how they played well but came up just short. A great team comes up with this kind of play and this kind of win. I think that team is the 2024 Seattle Seahawks.
I hope John Schneider and his team are looking for guards to trade for. Hate seeing Geno get hit a lot

I really hope Macdonald replaces Tomlinson and Bradford with Olu and Haynes. The Miami game would be a great time to give them reps to prepare for the 9ers and Rams. If it wasn't for the drops and a three really bad mistackles on D that should have been easy tackles, Seahawks would have pulled away in this game in the 4th.
Tomlinson is done not Impress with Connor Williams. Put Haynes at left guard and olu back at center. And I think this Offensive Line will be a lot better.
@dennisrhodes8380 you do realize Williams just finished recovering from ACL surgery right? He is still shaking the rust off.
Grubb need to adjust the run game when it doesn't initially work... won't be sustainable moving forward...should've tried K Mac in there. Great teams will destroy us without a better run game

I was thinking the exact same thing during the game
Take out the horrible mistake by 53 that should have been a 3 yard lose that turned into a 40+ run. Seattle would have held NE to less than 4 yards a rush. So not bad. Any team is going to get 120+ yards rushing if they are going to run it 35+ times a game. A road win against a pretty good defense and an offense that was going to run it 40+ times. Sadly, Seattle could get them out of the run. Geno was good. Penalties and dropped passes bit them in the butt in the second half and it almost cost them. But a win is a win. You rather win ugly than lose looking pretty. There were flashes of a good team.
Agreed wasn't perfect by any means but they 2-0 and should be better next week

Biggest difference I'm noticing this season is the receivers having blocks and paths to run after the catch. Last year that was non-existent
If I had to guess the last time two seahawks players had over 100 yards receiving in the same game would be DK and Lockett against the Buccaneers in 2019

This team made a mistake Playing connor williams in at center Should have stayed with olu. He's been there the whole yearthey look pretty good with him in preseason and I know it was pre Season, but man, they look bad With Williams in those 2 guards.
Williams has never been that good to begin with. He been benched for terrible play 2 years out of his 5. Injuries most years. Not sure why anyone thinks he was ever going to be an upgrade. If he was any good Miami keeps him.

Jason Meyers wasn't perfect, he missed 2 field goals. And the ones he made were often just inside the goalpost with little room for error. I was hoping that Kenny Mac could have been in there for a few plays also, thought he might be able to do something on the outside.
