Like I’m all for shipping when it’s about fictional characters (as long they aren’t toxic/inappropriate dynamics and edit: //as long as the ppl shipping don’t become toxic or start to ignore the canon and consume the story as something else because they always consume it with the filter of headcanons, indulgence and ships//) but not real ppl. Come on now. Don’t write them in their dms etc. like that. And don’t write fanfictions about them 😱
Edit: So that there are no misunderstandings: I like fanfics (apart again from the weird and toxic tags). But not with real ppl. The weird kinky shit (and I really mean weird!) some ppl write between real ppl (not characters portrayed by real ppl) is just not it.
Shipping two real ppl and then writing romance and sexual stuff between them is weird as hell. Yes of course it’s not the same as to write comments and dm‘s but still it dehumanizes them.
One of those that traumatized me was this BTS one that Mille (Kpop/Makeup-RUclipsr) reacted to. It’s an extreme example but tbh the romancing or sexualizing with ppl that know each other is just weird as an outsider. And fans are outsiders 😂
