Actually the same experiment is done in class 12 in chemistry lab to check the presence of aldehyde with the help of 2,4-DNP solution and tollens reagent also known as silver mirror test and basically the glucose contains CHO (ALDEHYDE) it reacts with tollens reagent and forms silver mirror
