Thank you for sharing this wonderful tour of the NCL Pearl. We just disembarked yesterday, and miss it already. There were roughly 1500 aboard on our cruise, where we enjoyed great weather, both in Bermuda and Bar Harbor, Maine. We prefer the smaller ships, which in reality are not so small.
Great video! ❤️ Will book Norwegian Pearl for June 2023. Haven’t been on a NCL ship since the Dawn June 16 2007 honeymoon cruise! Can’t wait to sail the Pearl! 🎉
Thanks for this, great to see the Pearl is so much like the Jade, our favourite… we love the Great Outdoors. Sorry you got a touch of the Covid, we had it on a Caribbean trip on the Dawn in January, possibly caught it due to a couple of days in Florida beforehand… then again, boarding was a terrible free for all. Anyway, I ramble!
It seems that the cruise lines can use their theater spaces to show movies when availability of entertainers is limited. They could choose a theme for movies for a particular cruise based upon the demographics.
Thanks for this nice tour ! Question: I thought the Pearl had a slide albeit smaller than the Getaway series, but an adult-and-kid slide nonetheless, installed in their most recent retrofit/refurb. ? I didn't see this on your pool deck tour which you covered quiet nicely. Please advise and cheers !!!
@@johnpolitsky Thanks John - and my mistake - I saw the Pearl's water slide prior to it being refurbished in 2017. I had read CruiseCritic feedback on that slide and folks wrote that it was an adult-and-kid-friendly slide that cork screwed 100 feet or so. Well after hearing back from you, I found this video of the slide that once was LOL. Buckle your remote seat belt because this slide breaks speed records ! ruclips.net/video/a2PiIlagn60/видео.html
Hi do we get assigned a dining room for the evening meal? we have never cruised with Norwegian till we booked just yesterday. We have always cruised with carnival so looking forward to trying something new.
Hi. No. Norwegian is extremely freestyle, you can go to dinner at any time to any restaurant. Even the free dining rooms, you can just show up or make a reservation, whatever is easier for you.
I’m sailing on this ship in fall out Quebec. The premium beverage package was included, but they said bottled water wasn’t included. How much is a bottle of water?
Outstanding tour of the Pearl. I've been looking at them and yours is by far the best. Did you say that the Thermal Suite Spa is separate for men and women? I was thinking about booking it for our cruise in October but was hoping to get the spa pass so my husband and I could go together. BTW,, love your videos,, great commentary, get right to the point and honest with both pro's and con's. Thank you.
Thanks so much. There is a small joint thermal suite. It contains a small heated pool and a few hot tubs, and then it breaks off into male and female portions that are in each of the locker rooms. its a little weird.
Hi again ! I love this video so much I rewatched it 3 times :-) as I pick up new things with each watching. Questions: You said NCL stated they will be cruising thru the end of this year at reduced capacity. Do you know by what percent reduced capacity ? Next, you mentioned Le Bistro is your favorite restaurant of all cruise dining experiences - YAY ! We planned to go there, so glad to hear that. What entree's would you suggest ? Thanks most kindly again !!! Cheers !!!
Hi Marcia, not sure exactly on the capacity, but it appears like 65-70 for most cruises. So... at Le Bistro, everything is pretty amazing. the coco vin and the filet are my favorites but you cannot go wrong there.
@@ByteSizeCruises Excellent ! Thank you very kindly for your prompt and thoughtful reply. I have since watched your NCL Pearl Dining video and I can tell you my husband has the Filet on his radar and I adore coco vin - anything steeped in wine, cognac and garlic will win my heart. They also have a version of Floating Island which if you have never had it, you better get your skates on and order it !!! I had it on Princess and thought I had died and gone to heaven and beyond.... I love smaller size ships (one of our favorite cruises was on the Pacific Princess !), so I am sure we will love the Pearl, however we are rightfully concerned about COVID cruising. We are leaving on a neat 7 night Bermuda cruise with 3 full days in Bermuda, plus 1 night at the end in Bar Harbor - leaving July 22nd. It would be neat to have a travel advisor to guide us through future cruise plans, thus I have subscribed to your channel. CHEERS and happiest of future cruise travels to you and yours !!! m.
@@marciasanguinetti3900 Thanks so much. You will love the 3 days in Bermuda. it is amazing. i highly recommend the sunset Goslings rum tour. It is amazing.
@@ByteSizeCruises Shall do it ! Thanks ! And we love taking their local bus around the island - meeting local folks and enjoying their stories. Bermudians are incredibly friendly !!! Have you been to John Smith Bay Beach ? That is the most gorgeous beach and known mostly only by locals. Great body surfing too :-) Cheers to Bermuda and you - we shall toast you with a Goslings rum !!! m.

What about the small collision.
I probably saw you! I’m a marine mammal specialist at Dolphin Quest

Can you say what shot you got in the lava flow? Looks delicious!
We order with a shot of Kraken and all credit to Matt Hochberg at Royal Caribbean Blog for that advice
Am going on this ship January thanks for the info
Of course. Have a blast!
@@ByteSizeCruises thanks 😊
Great presentation. Thank you
Thanks so much!

The large bottles in your room are about 6 or 6.95 A small bottle is around 3-4 around the ship
Not really a SMALL ship, just not a MEGA-SHIP. MID-SIZE is what it is - it is almost twice as large as the Titanic was.
Small by todays standards not 100 years ago lol

No Haven?
no. not this time sorry. There is no Haven area on this ship. There are just a few Haven rooms, but we did not get access to those.
Best time to visit Bermuda?
Def not April lol. July & August are beautiful, just have to always be wary of hurricane season.
