- In this video, I give you a closer look at the basic differences you'll find when searching for different versions of Slipknot's 1999 debut. There are many versions out there (over 80 CD versions) with many minute differences. However, here I show the differences that are easier to spot for new collectors.

So I had a copy of the Selftitled album that was new but it didnt have any lyrics in the booklet. It was just a slip of paper with the album cover on one side and a Quote from corey on the other with directions to their website. Do you know anything about this?
That's the "censored booklet" version from the US. Pretty common but also pretty cool

I believe this is photoshopped onto Joshs head. When Jim joined It got cut out. But josh is still on the cover. 🤘🏻

Maybe but if I do this same kind of video, only showing basic differences, with Iowa, there's really only like 2 versions. Maybe though
I know a difference between the 1st and 2nd press! On the the 1st press Jim’s hair has the purple hair sticking out the 2nd does not
Yeah I know you are wondering that how the logo did not effected on the 10th Anniversary look at Jim
James Root was not there when The members you see on the Album Cover signed with Roadrunner. James just so happened to be in a Lil band called Stone Sour. Josh Brainard is the poor bastard who made one of the dumbest decisions in his life to quit Slipknot after they got signed and then put on the Ozzfest 99 tour. James was recruited by Corey after Josh Quit the band. Josh and Mick laid down 95 percent of the music on that album, while James was there to record everything from "Me In Side" until the present........Slipknot Are Legends!
And further more my brother that is a flower on Craig's chest, Not hair.......or is it? Hmmmmm, could it be that for 23 yrs I've mistaken ha8r for a flower???
