One of the best podcast. Dr Ong has the potential to give his best in academia and take politics to a higher ground in this country. The older politicians should give some leeway to young and pragmatic ones who can bring in new ideas for a better Malaysia

The problem is if he had asked for Najib's resignation then he would be Pagoh Bodoh 2.0 lying on the chopping board.

The host spoke too much. Usually, an interviewer asks and listens, lol. Ong Kian Ming has my fullest respect. He’s one of the few good men left standing. I hope he will make a great comeback one day, together with Tony Pua.

When any organisation gives scope for talents to grow ...then there is progress and greatness...but
When an organisation keeps on saying the leaders are still needed and lots of things not done ...year in year out ..10 years , 15 years , 20 years the people still see them around ...that is truly the end of the organisation and it is still fortunate that it exists maybe the people still believe in its product but not those promoting it ...
Well done ..Ong ...to highlight your views and show your talents and those that are with you

He was a good politician. He is educated, knowledgeable. His mindset and wisdom really impressive. I believe he can make a positive impact if he'd in the current cabinet. Such a lost for Malaysia😢

DAP lost a capable and aspiring politician. The old guards in DAP seems so entrenched to protect their positions for reasons best known to them

This guy can truly take our education level to be on par with Singapore and beyond if given a chance to helm. The education ministry is at a laughable level. This guy Ong can perform magic in whichever portfolio given. He will be such a formidable force combining with Rafizi, Tony Pua, Rayer, Yeo Bee yin, Hannah Yeoh, KJ, Gobind, Akhmal Nasir, Anthony Loke, Stephen Sim, Fahmi Fadzil , Adly Zahari and Chang li kang Nik Nazmi, Nurul izzah , Wong Chen and the real utmost unsung hero is Mp Batu Prabhakaran .

At first, I am not sure who is interviewing who, lol. An eye-opener towards the end where Ong honestly revealed the bad blood between him and Lim. It has further confirmed my suspicion that vengeful Lim can never take on criticism openly. That's the reality and dark side of politics, friend today, possibly foe tomorrow. What more disheartening, is the bad culture cultivated from the top within the party. Recent quote when asked to comment the statement from Ong, not to abandon Pua and to show support, state the party's stance on 1MDB; Lok reportedly had said that Ong was talking nonsense and the party has always remembered their 1MDB stance. The comment from Lok was very disrespectful to Ong, the way I see it. That is how the party dispose talents if they do not toe the line with the top leadership. Can feel Ong has not given up entirely in his hint. He is waiting for the opportunity to make a come back. Quoting KJ when once asked if he has ruled out himself in becoming the prime minister, KJ's answer is no. He like any other politician has the ambition to reach for the top. I see both men have the same burning spirit. All the best to them and the nation.

And look at how he's treating the current Penang chief minister. I won't call the latter his successor...because actually supposed to be the predecessor! But LGE jumped queue because .... When DAP was in the opposition, they used to scoff that there was nepotism in the party, pointing out that all their offspring inherit are harassment and prosecution. Very cleverly not mentioning how they rise internally.

I agree with OKM that LGE should step down to clear his name and not taking the Chairman of DAP

Try not to be a prima Donna. Respect the hierarchy esp the top leaders.
Don't go behind and do secret negotiations without the party's approval. For an independent MP/YB
of any party , it's defifitely ok. Simple. Same thing as an employee.. Respect your head, dept head or CEO.
