- May 21 (Bloomberg) -- Harry's, a New York-based startup, is attempting to disrupt the global razor blade market by offering cheaper blades online, and it has bought a former East German factory to help its cause. Bloomberg's David Tweed caught up with Andy Katz-Mayfield, Harry's co-founder, in the German town of Eisfeld.

And Now Costco sells their razor blades as well.
Harry's is where I'll get my razor blades if my 150 year old Wade and Butcher razor ever gets broken.
Produces razor blades in Germany, can't deliver in Europe
Hey Andy Katz-Mayfield Am I missing something? Your video shows double edge razor blades in Germany but you do not actually sell those blades. Was ist falsch?
The irony is the prices of their blades now are more expensive than that of of their competition
I love the way these people talk about excessive mark ups of other companies.
I literally just bought a bundle from Costco
How can i comtact them?
i wonder how much being in there will make my self go insane
He tried to sell the company to Schick recently and it was blocked by Gillette and the FTC so he's really trying to help change the market and be the razor Robin Hood we've all been looking for. (sarc)
Ja das Kartell Amt wollte es nicht.
lol I had a Gillette ad
Lol they show footage of their factory making razors but it's not even their razors XD
*I Love Harry's. They're such a great company. And I love their graphics and their logo.*
I miss thé hidden mammoth on the box
Why no Europe delivery?!?!
They sell the blades all over europe and germany. The trolls only have to look.
Except their cartridge design makes them unusable. The pivot point is set behind the blades, so when you press the razor to your face, the blades are rotated and lifted away from the skin!
Honestly I've tried these and they are so average.
Pretty sure this is where the Bolzano Superinox (formerly of Italy) stainless is still made.
They are the same blades as lidls.
Can i get in india
I use these, and I get a great shave with no nicks. I shave every day, and have a fairly heavy beard, and at that I get 7 to 10 days out of one blade. Much better than that famous, grossly overpriced American brand.
Shame the design isn't great. Clogs too easily and causes too many nicks.
Preferably why I prefer safety razors as they don't clog as easily and the blades are INSANELY CHEAP!
I use a fresh blade every shave and it's still so cheap. I shave every week or two so a few blades last me a while.
Dollar shave club much?
No, very different concepts and prices.
The marketing and the entire company design is identical bro. 1000's of companies in the US especially have "jacked" dsc marketing strategies. It's clear too see.
JC Clayton Dollar Shave Club prides themselves on cheap and affordable razors, that don't really have long-term quality, but because they're cheap, you're getting a deal. The Harry's brand on the other hand, focuses on quality products, while keeping them affordable, and not ripping off their consumers. The only comparable areas is affordability and that they're in the shaving industry. But their philosophies on quality and style, are very much different.
I accept that
Price is pretty similar tbh
Dude German blades sucks in practice.
