    Hi, there's so much good stuff in GSG, that it makes it look like cheating !

    • @Greyscalegorilla
      @Greyscalegorilla  Год назад +5

      Thanks! But it's not cheating. Just like using 3D software instead of creating it with stop motion isn't cheating. The goal is to give you high quality assets that are useful in speeding up your work and helping you create beautiful renders for your clients. Thanks for being a customer!

    What is the difference between adjusting the exposure of a light versus the intensity? I would assume intensity but I've noticed in a few GSG videos that the exposure is the go to for adjusting the brightness of a light.

    • @Greyscalegorilla
      @Greyscalegorilla  Год назад +1

      Both of them will work. I prefer exposure when working with light.

    Is there a way to prevent the gobo from being so distorted/angled? Sunlght streaming through a window doesn't hit then walls like that - especially when all the angles are 90 degrees. I really like the plant and caustic gobos, but the window ones always look off.

    How is an open shoe box an interior? For lighting an interior you need much more details than this. Would be lovely to see a real setup and how to get rid of the noise. Also a version without GSG Assets - the slow down rendering so much. Thank you for all your nice work.

    How do you set a "dome light" in octane? Is it just to use hdri and set the value to white and then lower the power to fit the scene or? I never used redshift but it seems that you can use multiple HRDIs and in octane you can only use one (As primary and other as visible, but can you stack more primary HDRIs because it seems that you can easily do that in redshift, or am I missing something?). Am I wrong? 🙂

    • @userinfo3119

    • @ratkoradujkovic5575
      @ratkoradujkovic5575 5 месяцев назад

      Any fix for this? In Octane you can have only one HDRI, so you can't use second one to add fill light
