My goodness Amber. You look strikingly beautiful! I love this song! I still blast it in my car with the windows open while driving through Manhattan. The studio version is much fuller and faster. As a New York City nightlife reveler , this song truly captures the essence of it all. I live in New Jersey at present but I loved my weekend rendezvous on 130 West 26th Street with my first true love. I still spend a great deal of time in the big town since it is nearby and my best friend lives in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
I moved out of the city when I was young, but visited often because of grandparents aunts uncles cousins great aunt. Was from Bayside Queens, I guess you could say my great grandparents house was like a family compound with lots of units. That place was great. You could even walk to the store by yourself on the boulevard, couldn't do that now. They were Italian. Grandmother lived in North Brooklyn. She would take me on the train through the toughest neighborhoods in new york so we could get to Manhattan. Lots of crime in the city in the seventies. That little polish lady was street smart and really knew her way around, she was from lower Manhattan. Such good times. 😅
Huge in the clubs in London too, late 1977 when I was a 19 year old. Still makes me smile and want to dance. 'Where did all those yesterdays go". Sigh...
Hi Jay and Amber! It's Andrew Erroch fae Paisley in Scotland here. I absolutely love this song. It's such a groove, and I still hear it played on radio stations these days because it's so timeless. I would love to visit New York and, in fact, all of America, and I just love Americans. We only seem to go to Thailand these days, as that's our other home. Glasgow is the big city near me and I go there regularly. I love the place. You can see a lot of videos on RUclips from visitors. My favourites at the moment are from Eddy Cheese. Watch his videos, and he will really make you want to come over here. Æx 🙏
This reminds me of my mom being pregnant with my brother. She loved listening to disco but because she had me and was pregnant she couldn't go out to the discos so I was raised on this stuff and Motown/Philly Soul/R&B. It brings back great memories.

Odyssey, Use it up, wear it out. Thank you guys. 👍
Being a Native New Yorker born and bred in Brooklyn, this song always brings about a good mood and some pride.
Great choice from the 70s. I recommend another amazing song of Odyssey from the 80s. "Going back to my roots".
Greetings from Brazil.
The song that sums up nostalgia for that era like no other. I ❤ this song so much. And the 12" version is even better.
They have a great selection of hits, going back to my roots being my favourite.
Inside Out is my favorite song from them.
This was one of my all time favorite jams! Played this 45 vinyl do death😊
It's nice to see Odyssey back on this channel. I think you will love their "Going back to my Roots" too.
Luv this tune. 1977....reminds me of my 8th grade year growing-up in Los Angeles. West Coast loved the NYC vibe too.
What memories! Great great song. Thanks
I absolutely love this! My older sister had this on a mixed tape when I was a kid. I used to listen when she was out. Still a big hit with the family and it seems a lot of people from that era ❤
Loved this song when it came out 🙏🏻, I left school in 77 I was 16 years old and yes it was played in our disco ‘s in the UK ❤️🔥🇬🇧xxx
I hear you this in the grocery store alot. I've always loved this song. I imagine it was a big club song back in the day
I'm Native New Yorker Manhattan, Bronx, Brooklyn I Had This Song As A 45 Record In 1977 My First Record I Was Only 11 Yrs Old I like Their Other Song " If You’re Looking For A Way Out "
It's a great slow Hustle song..... I still hear it in retro scenes.....We used to call it 'pretty music" back in the day....Disco Light....
Midnight Special? The Babys - "Isn't it Time" You will ask yourself why you haven't heard this yet. Also "Every Time I think of You". Both on the show.
they are way overdue for The Babys! Especially since they've reacted to John Waite and Bad English(Waite singing) already.
@@surlechapeau Absolutely, and it is such a good version.
I know they have reacted to Fleetwood Mac's Rhiannon before but they should see it live on the show also maybe.
Wow, that pulled a few cobwebs!! I bet I've not heard that song in 40 years or more. Great to hear again. I all but forgot that one!!
So glad you are playing it xx❤
Another rarer one that I actually remember! Haven't heard since this was on the radio in-the day, though. Fun choice! Great Reaction, You Guys! :) Have a Great Week, You Guys!
Fantastic production for a disco song. Top tier.🎉🎉
I love this song. 💎 It was also utilized at the end of SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER (1977).
My favorite ever Oddesy song is , If you’re looking for a way out. It’s a slow one, but soooo beautiful and moving, please play that one day ❤
I was groovin to this one in '77 as an 11 yr old with my long hair . HAHA..OH. love the hair, Amber. Such a pretty face.
OH YES!! TAKE ME BACK TO THE GOOD TIMES!! Big hit from the 1977 THANK YOU!! 🙂
