  • This video details the Advanced Cross vCenter vMotion capability. The demo shows the two migration workflows, performing a workload migration from an on-prem vSphere infrastructure to a VMware Cloud on AWS SDDC while the workload remains 'live' and pingable!

    Hi,
Nice video on how to import stuff into VMC on AWS. I am missing a big step here in the video.
You talk about the L2VPN that you have setup to stretch the network of the VM's from the onprem to the VMC environment.
In this video you miss the talk about the setup that is done to have both vCenters to be able to talk to each other, setting up a Direct Connect or IPSEC L3 VPN. As well as the creation of firewall rules on the Management gateway that needs to be done so both vCenters can talk to eachoter....

Good points. I didn't want to go into details on connectivity setup, I wanted to showcase what the (Adv Cross vCenter) vMotion workflows look like. We do have other videos explaining connectivity using VPN or DX.
