For those of you who bought Relish for "One of Us" alone, please consider listening to the entire album. It's dripping with this type of soulful rasp throughout!
How lucky can you be when at 70 years old, you can still find great rock and roll like this. Thank you Joan. I would have loved to have heard this in South Orange last week...it was a great concert without it though. Thanks again.
She could have been the Pat Benatar of the late 90s and 2000s...what happened to this angel of rock? They didn't release the best songs as singles.. Dracula Moon, Pensacola, Ladder...
I must admit that I love the studio version but don't like this. The lead guitar is too fuzzed and way too loud, forcing Joan to get louder and more forceful as they practically fight for supremacy, destroying the track's entire atmosphere. Add the God-awful guitar feedback and no one wins. It's a so-so cover band.

It's called the blues.
I only bought it for "One of Us" but then I fell in love w.the WHOLE album. Best $15 I ever spent.

Stunning version! Joan sings her heart right out. In '95 she was the best female singer on the planet.
And that has not changed.
@@MostlyBuicks What can you show me where she sings at that level recently?
@@andywarhol. I have all her CDs. I consider 2017 recent as that is her latest.
@@MostlyBuicks Great so what do you recccomend? Song title?
@@andywarhol. you can probably google it.
I just looooove Joan, I always have.
she just nails this great song here with an abundance of energy emotion and expression..love it Joan
So incredibly powerful, love Joan Osborne
Her best song in my eyes
Love this song
Her first album was incredible. I couldn’t connected with the rest of her albums until 2020’s Trouble and Strife.
Simply epic 😎
So much pasión in her voice love her
I hope she had a comeback. The guitarist?
She is a powerhouse!! I adore her voice.
Come back, JO!!
Hottest Woman Ever!!!! 😍
Damn shes good! Big fan right here!
Relish is a great album. Ladder contains a sample of the T. Rex song Mambo Sun from the great and timeless album Electric Warrior.

I loved every song on the album with the exception of Dracula Moon.
@@austinbarry8978 are you serious???? Dracula Moon is the best song of the álbum!
Brilliant
What a drummer!
I love her so much 💋👍
Killin’ it girl!
LOVE JOAN!!!!!
😍😍😍😍
Indie rock went harder in 1995 ...seems that good music was way before I thought
Hollywood missed its chance to do a Janice Joplin bio-pic. Joan is the only woman who could have handled the vocals.
Who is the bass player?
Smoking rendition - lose the guitar!
Hey, it's Joan Osborne you're talking about here--I'd say she can start playing anything new whenever she wants. We're all beginners at something. 🌞
Agreed! I was wondering why she's holding it at all... Still, bad-ass singer; bad-ass tune. :)
Guitar is very distracting
Agree! Totally unnecessary!
