Over 60 years ago my mother was making the garlic and honey mixture. She would add sliced onions to it. She would keep the jar on the counter and every morning my sisters an I would get a large spoon of cod liver oil followed by the garlic, onion and honey mixture. That was her way of reducing our chances of getting colds or flu.

I SO need to make this! I use garlic oil every day to keep SIBO *(small intestine bacterial overgrowth)* managed. I don't know what I'd do with out that and oil of oregano. Umm I wonder what I would get if I ferment oregano with the garlic? I'll have to try that.
