    This collection features some of the more unique and elusive vehicles from the Republic. The Turbo Tank A6 bulldozes the ground forces with its massive size. The UT-AT provides pinpoint artillery fire all while being able to take a heavy beating. The Nu-class Shuttle outlines a multitude of military uses. And frankly, the AT-OT is too cute for military service, go, be free and frolic in the grass.

    Comparing the Turbo Tank with the At-At made me realize just how massive the Turbo Tank truly is.

    • @paleoguy2165
      @paleoguy2165 Год назад +1

      It is not as big as this lego model suggests. It appears a few times in the clone wars and is as long as two AT-TEs end to end. It’s massive, sure, but for this Lego model to scale with the others it would have to be half the size. Also the UT-AT scales fine with the turbo tank but not with the others. I think the turbo tank and Ut-AT are a seperate scale to the others.

      The A5 turbo tank is the one that appeared in the clone wars (the smaller version) whereas the lego model is of the A6 turbo tank. Go to 2:50 in the video if you don't believe me @@paleoguy2165

    Yeah, lots of people don't realize just how huge the A6 is. I have the 2016 Turbo tank, and whenever I play around with it I like to pretend it's the A5 and not the A6 since it actually lines up correctly with most other LEGO Star Wars sets.
    And speaking of large ships... I would LOVE to see a minifigure scale Kom'rk Class ship from you guys... that would easily be your biggest model at well over 1 and a half meters long.

    • @BrickVault
      @BrickVault  Год назад

      These ships are really cool! but the design is so precarious with the wings only connected at the rear. Some models in digital have been floated around in the past, but nothing that looks like it's keeping its shape IRL. maybe one day if someone figures out some amazing techniques, but right now it's stuck in ... physics limbo

    My main issue with this bundle is how innacurate the A6 juggernaut its lacking the 2 twin chin guns on the large cockpit,lacking a gun on the top around the smaller cockpit, and the watch tower i feel could have been executed better using 1x2 jumpers and studs to form the ladder so the ladder section isn't so wide I understand there are limits to micro scale but these issues surely could have been fixed.

    2:00-2:55 ooh my god that’s a lot of misinformation 🫠
    Firstly, the one from the clone wars is an A-6. Notice the lack of tower on the top. And look at the wookiepedia page.
    Secondly, the turbo tank from The Bad Bath and Rouge One is an A-9. Notice how the front and back wheels are smaller than the inner 3. The A-9 is the imperial iteration.
    So no, the A-5 is NOT the most common turbo tank. Infact it’s not shown in cannon at all. The turbo tank in Revenge Of The Sith and The Clone Wars is an A-6, and the one from Bad Batch and Rogue One (imperial era) are A-9s.
    DO YOU’RE RESEARCH
    Also…
    3:10-3:30 oooohhh boy. 😮‍💨 you got a lot wrong there.
    Turbo tanks were not the biggest beast on the Star Wars battlefield, and could almost fit under the legs of an AT-AT. The official stated size of 50 metres long is incredibly inaccurate to the size seen in canon media such as revenge of the sith & the clone wars. In the clone wars an AT-TE comes up to the red stipe on the side. It ain’t smaller than the wheel. I think it needs a remake after the creator of this model actually watches Clone Wars.
    And they Infact WERE present on the battle of hoth. Just not on the AT-AT assault.
    So no, they do not scale well with each other. At all.

      They are scaled pretty well for such small scale. Eta-2 is 5,47 meters long, while AT-TE's hull is 13,2 meters, ratio is 1:2,4. Micro Eta-s build is 4 studs long, while micro AT-TE's hull is 9 studs long, which gives 1:2,25 ratio. Don't know about UT-AT, but it's 24 meters to AT-OT 14 meters, so seems they are scaled fairly well too
