I am a 436-year-old quahog clam living in mud off the coast of Iceland and we clams consider Aldus to be one of us. Her music slaps.
Hilarious

Black belt ! ROTF

Spectacular:)
I'm a retired scottish seatrout thinking about returning upriver to jump for joy at Aldous's creativity
I’m a sixty year old male construction worker who set his phone alarm so I could walk away from the job site just to here this as soon as it dropped. I LOVE THIS!
Heck yeah man, I did the same thing and I work at a landfill. Blue, grey, and white collar all seem to love this music
Greg, that comment is beautiful. I think we've got something really special in our lives with Aldous Harding...
@@lyndontaylor1380 Thanks Lyndon, me too!
@@gregtilson2153 Man, what a sincere sentiment. Resonated with me…thanks.
Aldous Harding and magnificent band performed in Raleigh, NC a couple (or more ) years back- I then fell back in love with art. It had been a while.
Go boy!
I am Khüiten, the highest peak in Mongolia, and I am 300 million years old. I nearly blew my top when I first heard this. If anyone is qualified to say so, its me, this song rocks!!
You rocks
I was there when Keith Richards defiled your mother , you ran away
I am a 70 year old man, and I listen to Aldous Harding instead of going to the doctor about feeling blue. So far, so good.
beautiful
58 and I agree
🤣
I just love how each song is sang in almost a completely different voice. It's as if there are multiple characters telling the same story.
thats what i love about this album, and about aldous in general, she has such a range of voices and characteristics.
Aldous plays a different character for each of her songs, and she takes each character very seriously
It’s definitely characters. Definitely the same story.
I'm a snake-hipped, septuagenarian , spanish-market salami salesman and this song just about took the patina off my brass hand.
Glad I scrolled long enough to reach this one.
No way!! Me too
Master of the genre.
Lol
Me too
I’m an eighteenth century colonial gentleman’s blouse and this song made me frillier than ever before.
lol brilliant, one of my favs among many hilarious posts.
Hi, blouse 😊. How did you discover this internet?
I am a 45 year old professional badger wrestler living in the Scottish Borders. Me and the badgers love this song. It's knocked Cliff Richard (Mistletoe and Wine) off the top of our favourites list. Thanks Aldous. Call in for a wrestle if you're passing.
I absolutely love the way you never know what to expect from Aldous Harding, visually or musically, but it’s delightful.
She's a genuine weirdo, creative, and artist. Keeps you on your toes.
Ikr! This barely even sounds like her! (On first listen, at least)
What's with the fake accent I hear her sing in? Sounds Spanish
Love Aldous, love Amiee Mann, This is pure Heaven!!!
@@stephenbrady7310 it's not that good 😕
O
I'm a sixty five year old spray painter painting trucks an when this song was played on Radio NZ the other afternoon it stopped me in my tracks.....real quality right there!! Love it!! 😎
I'm a seven hundred year old Wizard with Alopecia, I found this song by breaking into an Austrian Painters Castle and looking at his RUclips Music Playlist... I'd give this song a solid 9/10.
🤣 You lunatic
Very brave of you to announce your alopecia. Very strength
Winner
hell yes 🥾
it's obvious to me that this is one of the BEST Albums of 2022.
this song is literally the best good song ever
I'm a Boer War veteran from a region in France that no longer exists and I just about jumped out of my crypt when this dropped. It slaps! No cap.
no, you're an idiot
It's our lady of art, our dear muse. I'm sure it will be good. She has a bright soul. Her music is bewitching and makes me think our silver thread is connected to the same light. Respect and love from the Rocky Mountains of Colorado! I feel lucky I found her music!
It was pretty good. Always different. Respect!
Same, dude! It's been so long since I found an artist I could identify with on such a deep level. 🥺
Yes, you and everyone else that follows her!
Her music grows on you. I find myself coming back to songs I didn't think I liked that much and then I find myself whistling it for weeks.
I’m a 40-year old tortoise from New Orleans and when I woke after this winter this song rocked my shell off
I'm a 6 year old inner rubber core of a golf ball. I got knocked out of the outer cover when I heard this song from Aldous. Her music slaps.
I'm a 97 year old retired chalk-board engineer and I jumped from the top floor window of my retirement home just so I could listen to this alone! I LOVE THIS!
Glad to hear you survived. Anything for Aldous.
Id jump fo her
Lying at home with real fever listening to this wonderful song, just beautiful coincidence.
Same!
I’m a 40 year old virgin turtle and I just wanted to say this really took me out my shell thank you
I am a 3562 year old being which has been interesting. Been better been worse.
Thanks for the music ❤
i'm a -36 year old future art school sophomore and this is the vintage song i'm going to use to impress all my new freshman friends
I’m a 36 year old railway worker… I found Aldous while sitting in a Cambodian airport… I’ll forever be listening
I am a 58 year old architect and I walked out on my job to listen to this beautiful banger! Keep up the good work 🙌🏻🤍
I love how Aldous can play with various timbres of her voice to make her sound different each time. She's kind of a chameleon in that way.
There was a literal chameleon in the Lawn video... 🤔
She literally never makes the same song twice.
Genius chameleon
She got range
@@ombra711 Or the same face, same anything ,,, I actually have considered whether she indeed IS more than one human in the Aldous Harding show.. I mean, how can the person in the official Blend video be the same as the person in Zoo Eyes ?? If you viewed the two vids back to back would you recognize them to be the same human ?
A vocal and visual chameleon. A galaxy of imagination. Thank you.
Aldous's music is always so minimal yet so rich
I’m a 3 year old gray dormouse living inside of an old rusted tuba and I bravely popped out of my horn home to scuttle past Madge, the Large Ones’ ornery, senile cat so that I could bop to this new Aldous jam the moment it dropped! SQUEAK THIS!
I'm almost 1-day-old. When I came out a few hours ago, this song was playing. Life has been good so far.
I honestly believe Aldous Harding is ten artists in one, she doesn't have one face or one voice, she has many, so glad I came across her songs, thank you for your art
I am sun-burned 18-year-old shark wrestler here in Southern California. Everyone here loves you Aldous Harding, thank you for these...and more.
Her natural voice is quite beautiful.
Thank you, Aldous! Somehow this video and music unplugged a load of pent-up emotion. Not quite sure why I am crying but I am. I'm not sad but feels like something just got released. Thank you for your humanity.
So much a emotion unlocked. It's hard to explain why but I think it's something to do with humanity and the masks we wear for each other....and how it can feel to take the masks off, maybe?
i feel her new music will be spellbinding
What a treat at 3am in New Zealand and you’ve got Covid and can’t sleep.
Hello from 845am.
Hello from 11:15pm, in the future
I grew up in a hip hop pop culture but my mom was a music fan period so I was exposed to all genres. This here is pure Gold and I'm sending the album to my sister. New subbie new admirer💜
One of the most uniquely talented artists around, if not the most. You never know what you're going to get from this lady but you always know it's going to be good! ❤️
Totes beguiled by her voice on this ditty. ❤💚🦄💙💜
Lovely wee heartwarming video that. Aldous Harding is gonna be a legend wan day!
I liked the first single from her new album but this one I really really LOVE... Her vocal phrasing and tone on this one is just stellar and rides the tone of the music hypnotically...
Heard this tune on Bayern 2 (a Bavarian Radio Station) a few days ago and thought, I need to find it online to listen more often... and to find out more about the singer. Here we go!
i love how she becomes so many different characters in such a short span of time. the many faces of aldous harding :’)
I first heard this driving out of a hotel in Frisco, Texas last spring - great track.
I’m not going to divulge that I was a 51-year old - just average- white collar sales manager - who pulled over on a warm March day to scribble down the name of the artist and song.
Some fun comments here.
10-months on - nice to revisit and feel this tune and sentiment, once again.
“ …. FeeVA… “
Harding does it again! Loved this one. Man, there is something about that sly smile, she knows a huge secret about life.
Intrigued with the beautiful smocks and quilts. I always look forward to the scaled back accopaniment of the horn, low reeds, and piano. Very warm and earthy. 💓
Im a 105 years old eskimo fisherman from the north pole, and i paddled my kayak 8 months straight to New Zealand, just to hear this new song that Aldous released. The song is pure art! The journey was worth it!! Life is amazing right? :D
Love the horns/piano combo.
I'm a truck driving hillbilly and I absolutely love Aldous.
Apparently weird, but entirely relatable. The vibe reminds me of John Cale's genius album Paris 1919. I hope Aldous feels suitably proud of her work. Clearly a good woman who wishes to share stories. Much the point of music. Bless you, Aldous.
Good call on John Cale sounding. I also hear Cate LeBon in her music. Great artist.
Comparing is something I am actively trying to avoid as I believe it denigrates the comparee. However - you are right, it does have a Paris 1919 vibe, though this particular track doesn't, in fairness, approach the might of that LP. However, Aldous does have the talent and attitude that Cale could not sneer at.
My soul is ready for some great music.
the moment at 1:58 looks like kate bush ! love !
You only get better. And more beautiful. ❤️🥰
I turned 56 today. I'm still writing music and still trying to make it. Im discouraged by most of todays crap but then I hear music like this and I'm inspired again! People still do produce great music! Thank you Alduos!!!
Never give up!
Just managed to get a ticket for Dublin in April 😊
this has grown and grown since I have played it a few days ago. I cannot get enough.
Greetings from the Pleistocene. Every time I hear this wonderful song it reminds me of Cat Power's The Greatest and that's a really good thing.
You might like a band called The Doublejumps if you like this
Bellissimo....love you from Italy
Seeing her tonight!!!!
She's great, kitchen sesh feeling the love
Love the subtle Miles Davis/John Coltrane in this!
I just received a copy of 'Warm Chris' through the post. First play and I felt a little underwhelmed. So I gave it play whilst setting about to rest for the night. How wrong my initial judgement was. I think Aldous Harding albums deserve to take all of a persons attention, and this new one is no exception. Amazing vocal range, wonderful melodies, and so very fresh and unique sounding. Many thanks Indeed.
Looking forward to seeing Aldous in Glasgow in September. So glad I discovered her music.
Great from the first listen.
Isn't Aldous just full of suprises "I was sad earlyer today,,and now I'm happy out" just love her character and her variations in her art" thumbs up here , thank you Aldous 🌈✌️this lady has something that I can't let go of" it's creativity I believe,, she always brings us to different places"very unique.
Fever when we met at hotel reception
Never have I been so tired, you said, «You bet»
Guess we did what the other expected
Eleven, eleven days in the heat of the city
Together, I had stars coming all around me
And you let, let me in where a mother’d invested
[Chorus]
I still stare at you in the dark
Looking for that thrill in the nothing
All my favoritе places are bars
[Verse 2]
Lover, don’t you run at thе easy part now
The weather opened up like a birthday card
And we forget one will fry if the other’s connected
[Instrumental Break]
[Verse 1]
Fever when we met at hotel reception
Never have I been so tired, you said, «You bet»
Guess we did what the other expected
Eleven, eleven days in the heat of the city
Together, I had stars coming all around me
And you let, let me in where a mother’d invested
[Chorus]
I still stare at you in the dark
Looking for that thrill in the nothing
You know my favorite place is the start
the perfect end of days tune
I'm twenty-seven years old man, and i'm a Wizard and I love your songs, it's make me feel so good and I think when I hear the songs i'm feelimg in another world, a special place that everything are magic. Thank you so much to bring this feeling for me
A moment of relief in this hectic life
Gutted this years tour rescheduled for next year was looking forward to seeing her performing in April 💕
just try and cover this. wonderful relief from tv music. thank you artist harding.
This lady is pure gold, that is all.
the Horns!!
We love your music, we love you, Aldous.
🔥🔥🔥
Look, she’s obviously as mad as a sackful of frogs but simultaneously brilliant. What’s not to admire.
So many questions! l wonder what the relevance of the letters in the end had to her. This is gonna grow on me like Old Peel.
i can't wait to see you in milan in april. i will send you all my love
Love this. Beautiful voice, song and singer - and the lyrics really reminded me of past love. A moment of beauty during difficult times. Thank you!
How is she not bigger!? This is ART!!
She could always eat cake. 🍰 ; )
It's because its Art. If something is huge it means a lot of dumb people have to also like it.
@@myradioon Hahaha. I hate that that's true.
This feels like my cozy place, like an expensive sofa with perfect pillows and warm lighting and a live jazz player over some coffee.
I wonder if I'm the only Malaysian listening to her? Another good effort by AH.
Can't get enough of it. Love it. Love her. Harvest 1976, Croatian terroir.
I hang on every inflection, I love her and her music. Always feel like I know what shes singing about …
You are a bright new light in my musical life. Thank you Aldous!
I'm a sixty year old male homebody who is forever contemplating whether I should walk away from my house and drive 2 hoursjust to here this live at the Fillmore in San Francisco on June 25th. I LOVE THIS!
The answer is yes, you should
I'm a 7 1/2-year-old medium-firm Sealy pocket spring mattress. I made my way to the Waitākere Refuse & Recycling Transfer Station (the Henderson Dump), to recover a 5th Gen iPod I threw out by mistake, so I could listen to the album Warm Chris by Aldous Harding. Recommended to me by the table lamp. I was mistaken for actual refuse and now listening to this album on repeat from a 12m x 36m, and growing, pile of waste. Aldous, thank you for shining a little light into my cavern of filth. Cheers.
I’m a 6.5 billion year old subatomic particle who’s happy to see that the Big Bang has produced one more thing of beauty.
Unique, emotional, special!
Im not even born yet and Aldous you are my Queen
I'm flying to Brussels in a month on a 24h trip exclusively to see her live. Also, that exact day is my birthday. I couldn't be more excited about it 😍
This album is a masterpiece.🔥
Rhythmically intriguing with a certain familiarity... I can't wait! Looks like the video will be an artistic wonder as well.
"opened up like a birthday card" what a lyricist.
ASTONISHING album!
This one is a slow heater, mam, with an infectious hook. Could have used more shadow puppet in the video as for some reason that fleeting image stuck with me, so while finishing the video for the first time I kept hoping to see more of the shadow puppet be developed. Thank you for this song and for the bittersweet tone that tugs on my nostalgic notions. Well sung!
EVERY NEW TRACK IS A BANGER!!!
I’m a 6,000,000,000,000 year old space-time traveler who has been 4,000,000 versions of Aldous Harding in this cross-section of the multiverse, and I find this version of Aldous Harding to be the most kissable.
