Hey! This was so great, really well done video and format. I’m totally ready to bake. Oh, one question, some guys say they bake it several times to get the best fit, does the amount of times you bake effect the skate negatively?
You can, but it is easier to use a hairdryer... hold the hairdryer in he skate for about 15 mins allowing the hot air to circulate inside the boot - eyelets will be very hot, but chassis will not - remember to remove the footbed!
Hi... I have a question: Coming out of the oven, the urethane wheels would be soft. Wouldn't you distort them out of shape when you stand up on them when they're soft?
Also let's say the boot was already heat fitted from someone else but then I received a pair of skates. Can I reheat fit them for myself? Or once they're refitted one time is that it?
I know you can bake skates twice if they dont mold to your foot well the fist time. Im not sure how well they will fit your foot because they were molded for someone else already but it wont hurt your skate
Hi, I have spoke to Mr. Stephen in Alkali and just want to make sure that doe Alkali skates sized just like a regularpair of shoes? I have wide feet and for other brands like Tour and Mission, I wear EE size, extra wide. Since Alkali only has one size, will it be expandible to EE width?
What size skates are these that the frame says "XS" on it? Are these running 76's straight across? I've never seen a frame made available that states XS. I wear a size 7 and all 80's make for a very long wheel base
I have a pair of Alkali revel 3, what temperature should I use? Whoever can’t help themselves and have to talk about the Girl, you are a weirdo! You can love a woman, but have some pride and don’t loose your composure and start rumbling on online.
Just had a go with my RPD Recons. I heated them to 175°F (80°C) in the home oven between 6-8 mins. Worked brilliantly.
Would you suggest those skates
How do I put them in my oven safely and correctly?

Those skates look sweet, I wish you guys still made those. Do you have any new old stock I'd love to get your old school versions
@Alkali Hockey can you substitute refrigeration to reduce cool down wait time?
What about the temperature?
What temperature do you put the skates in on a fan bases oven ?
can u bake it in regular oven at home ? ordered skates online and dont have where to take them to heat mold..
If you don't have an Alkali Oven, how do you perform the bake? Can you use your kitchen oven? What is the temperature to be used? Thanks.

Best tutorial ever
Obviously your a master chef. I just got these skates but that's absurdly complex for someone who hasn't been doing this their entire life...
Marcos Miranda how is that complex? Get them hot and put them on for 10 mins

I'm usually a EE, these skates expand when baked.
I have a US size 10 and the 8.5 Alkali fits perfectly.
So I have ac4 and there new so I don't have to take out the wheels to fit them and how long do you put it in the oven for??
9 mins
Where can I get one of these ovens I need to know please help.
at most skate shops (Ice and Roller hockey shops)
Memestagoat goodwill
Thank you I was wondering about the wheels thanks again
those wheels are Labeda Addiction
Are all skates heat moldable Alkali? I have an old pair and never knew this was possible 😯
Fall Days not every skate. Mostly old skates don’t have heat moldable features. It also depends on brand and price too
I want to buy alkali stuff for roller hockey but damn is it ever expensive
Ye what temperature?
175 Fahrenheit or 80 Celsius
Omg after i bake my skates i only let it cool for 1 hr and i go skates after that. will that hurt my skates ? will baking weaken the skates strength ?
yes... can cause premature break down of skate
Yes alkali fits all if they are baked

Steve Savino im wearing size 4 skates, but from bauer and the wheel set up is 68-68-72-72, so they could run all 72 or all 68 i think :D
Can this be done to inline skates?
How am I supposed to do this when I am preoccupied with this girl?
every time there is a decent looking female on a vid there’s always weirdos hittin on her 😂😭
That chick was a total dime!!!!!!
