    Made this today. My noodle was really soft ....but everything was perfect!!!!!! Made onsen egg and made pucuk manis soup.

    I've noticed there is two "styles" of chilli pan mee, one is the traditional one with ikan bilis, pork mince and poached egg, while the other is more common in kopitiams which use black sauce and mushrooms instead of egg

    hi I noticed you switched the blades for mixing the dough at 3:59 minutes into the video. Any reason why? I have problems with the dough getting stuck in the dough blade and was wondering if that could help.

    Fun Fact: Pan Mee is Malaysian Hakka invented cuisine, original name called Dou Ma Cet. 刀麻切. While the name Pan Mee is later renamed by Hokkien Peeps. That's why there is no Pan Mee in China. The "Pan mian" in China is totally different thing.
    So if possible, just call it pan mee. Pan Mien is confusing

      Hihi. Our recipe was designed for 8 pax so you can divide the portion by 8 to get a single portion. But you really wanna cook for one? A lot of work for a meal for one 😲

    I’m 🤤. I love chili pan mee and will try to make it soon. I made wonton mee last 2 days and during my marketing time, I found ready to cook pan mee from the supermarket. Definitely easier 😁

    Where got all handmade noodles? I thought u used the mixer to knead the dough?

      Haha that’s why we called it homemade instead of handmade. Feel free to use your hand to replace the machine to mix and knead the dough. Happy cooking. Cheers. Have a beer.     Just tried this recipe! Its legit good.
    But the thing is it’s too spicy. I put five cili padi and my lips is burning 🙈
    Is this because I didn’t deseed the dried chilli or the cili padi (in M’sia is much more spicy)
    * I’m someone who can tolerate to high level of spiciness*
