Very melodic. I like it.
Thank you kindly! /Alf
Bravo. Very beautiful!
Thanks Zevy! Very much appreciated!
By the way, did you know that the title of this piece allegedly were a "secret" greeting phrase that was used by the Scandinavian American accordionists whenever they met each other on U.S. soil. So instead of the typical "Good day" or "Howdy" they supposedly just said "Chinka Bazara" to each other :-)
Greetings from the Swedish west coast //Alf
Chinka Bazara soi upeasti, mikä rytmiikka, mikä taituruus :)
Kiitos x 100 :-)
💞💞💞
🙏🏻🙂
Tätä ei voi kukaan soittaa paremmin, niin hienoa on Alfin soitanta :)
KIITOS!!!
Chapeau! très bien joué!
Wow ,what type of accordion is is ... Very nice lugero
Merci beaucoup!!
Thanks a lot!! Well, in a way it is an ordinary chromatic accordion with C-griff configuration. But at the same time it is a most unusual instrument due to the "amphibious" keyboard layout. I use only the three button rows though :-)
Greetings from Sweden /Alf
Bravissimo !!! Desde Brasil
Muito obrigado!

Taituruuden lisäksi soittajalla mahtavan hyvä soittopeli, äänet loistavat. Helisevä haitari, upeaa.
Paljon kiitoksia! Voin vain olla samaa mieltä siitä, mitä kirjoitat soittimesta.

Thanks Mr Mazoff! Much appreciated!

are the piano keys purely cosmetic? and is the extra row on the bass side for augmented chords?
Hi! The white piano keys do actually function as a fourth row, but I never use them. Hmm.. there are no extra row on the bass side, though... It's a Standard 6-row system: Bass - Bass - Major - Minor - Dominant 7th - "Diminished 7th" [no 5th].
@@AlfHagedal Oh, I miscounted the bass rows, I thought there were seven. Thanks for your reply, very interesting accordion! It is C system, I see? I guess the black keys are really cosmetic then? And what is the range of the right hand? It seems really big, but I don't know how many dummy keys there are? I find it interesting that the accordeon has this "piano look", I just read a book about the history of accordions in the US, and it seems that at some point in history the piano accordion was preferred above the chromatic button accordion, and some people even switched from button accordion to piano accordion. Which puzzles me, because of the range and possibilities of the chromatic button accordion (nowadays at least, it seems to be preferred on conservatories)
Maravilhoso
Muito obrigado!
I just read Oberkrainer’s comment about the mic. You’re human after all. What are you playing today, 2020? Vegas?
Well, sad to say, but I have actually never even visited the U.S... Some years ago I were however involved in a couple of negotiating processess with american bookers, but neither of them came to fruition.
At around the time you posted your comment I were supposed to give concerts throughout Germany, but the tour was of course cancelled due to Lockdown. We'll see what the future may bring. Luckily there are digital platforms such as RUclips :-)
Best wishes from the west coast of Sweden /Alf
@@AlfHagedal If you ever consider coming to North America, you will have to contact either the Ellen DeGeneres show or Oprah Winfrey (who recently interviewed Meghan and Harry). America’s Got Talent won’t work in North America for the accordion as it would in Europe. There needs to be another awakening in N.A. for this wonderful instrument. As a kid, I used to bring the house down, playing at concerts and theatres. My dad had hundreds of students, and he could easily sell an accordion just by playing a good polka. We need a revival. Thanks for all your comments.
@@anthonyscinocca4380 Yeah, that'd be something! To have the accordion brought into a major TV-show in the U.S. - and in the 21st century!! Most likely that would be totally impossible these days though...
Greetings from Sweden /Alf
Great song, I like the way your accordion is Mic'd! Perfection until you hit the microphone, nice eye roll!
Thanks a lot, Oberkrainer!!
I just listened to it, and noticed that the mic-bumping luckily came on a down beat though. A blessing in disguise, as it were ;-) ruclips.net/video/gLutWx0NCH8/видео.html
