      Its not that season 2 itself was bad. It just didn't fit with season 1.
      It was more of a spin off then it was a season 2.

    Anyone remember a movie about a, maybe plant, that was kept in a tank with a dead monkey, and it was capable of using almost any energy to grow rapidly? I recall them knocking down a wall, finding the tank, opening it, photographing the dead animal, and the infection spread throughout the lab. It was night, but was killing animals and people. I think the goal was to defeat it before sunrise. Maybe made around 2007?

    • @FurryEskimo
      @FurryEskimo 11 месяцев назад

      @@isseelmi1840No, but there are a lot of similarities… This movie was more like, vines growing into people and eating them from the inside. I think I remember it going under someone’s finger nail, and another scene where it dropped a vine from the ceiling and got a guy in the back. I think it was mostly at night in a rural area with few trees. I recall the movie having a name like “Hell-something”, I’m totally wrong but it was some sort of wordplay related to terrible things… I stopped watching it because it was needlessly gross.

      @@FurryEskimo A movie called The Ruins has a similar scene where a vine gets inside people and eats them alive slowly.

      @@EE-din I think vines crawl inside people in a few different movies, but no, that one was like, a Mayan temple, right? I think this other one was in American farmland.

    0:49-0:51 What... that map... OK, I'm not a pro or amateur cartographer, nor a map collector, I've only pored over maps (real, historical, fantasy, etc.) for curiosity and fun for years, but I've never seen a map like this one. Greenland at 170° (east?) and Kara Sea at 170° to 160° (west?), 90° north marked with two latitudes and separated by a further 10° or more between them, plus something called "Daffin Bay" (and possibly "Lapter" Sea, rather than Laptev, but that could be poorly rendered layering)?!? I could understand if the story were meant to be some alternative-geography Earth, no problem - but without any such indication, given simply a med-fi story... I don't know, maybe it's just a fun little Easter Egg? If this is, in fact, a real map (which would be an interesting and cool variation to learn about), then would someone in the know please point me to it? I'd rather be painfully embarrassed than confidently wrong.

    so far this movie shows how selfish some people are as they are like "i wanna live so i can survive because IM not infected"
    and literally the guards and dosctors say the obvious answer "but you could be, so we are staying here till we are fully sure!"
    like if people actually went around without masks in covid you bet your ass in a situation like this someone would do a lot just to leave even if they could literally spell the earths doom

      What haunts me is that planes are the main means of transport/infection for a pandemic and we do not have any type of protocol for quarantining passengers who were in countries suspected of having the virus.
      So much so that at the beginning one of the jokes was that one of the symptoms of Covid was a desire to travel.
      So, from a pessimistic perspective, our end could be the result of the greed of a handful of people.

      Tons of people went around without masks during COVID. Turns out it had no effect on the spread rates because no one was wearing masks that actually helped. It was all feel-good theatrics for the people who don't have any understanding about how airborne diseases spread. Neither did the lockdowns. The only factor that mattered was population density.
