Thanks. I recently got the game and lightsaber combat felt like I was just mashing the trigger until someone died, with some flips and force abilities mixed in
That's how the game feels to a lot of people when they first start playing. Once you find out each move in the game is calculated and has different advantages and disadvantages, it becomes a lot more fun and way less random.
He's right, once you have experience with every technique then that's where the real game begins i have had a lot of epic fights and I even have to turn the npc difficulty to the max just to get some practice in otherwise it feels too easy.
I love this video. I make a lot of these same guides but for jedi outcast and I’m going to look to a few of yours to see where any overlap exists. Thanks for making these!
yo out of curiosity when you use the addsaberstyle command you can add tavion and desanns saber styles which are kind of unique variants, im not sure if you can use them on multiplayer but if possible maybe you can make guide for combos with them ?
Is anyone else trying to learn how to just stay alive? I bought this game on PS4 when it came out a while ago and have literally got a total of about 4 kills lol. I find it so difficult to fight people, I just didn’t realise there was this much detail in the mechanics.
just got this game recently, was trying to figure out how to do different attacks and couldn't find any help, this was the video that helped me thanks a bunch, time for me to get owned online
Nice video, so I’m new at the game, and I’d like to know how you can change your fighting style in multiplayer. I’m currently stuck on Strong and I don’t like how slow the swings are. Can you help with this?
I dont understand, I downloaded this game recently and i dont have the option to wave the lightsaber around with my mouse. It doesn't do anything, I can only clicked the mouse to attack. Does anyone understand why? I also cant digure out how to change lightsaber stances.
So how does one, change the stance and deactivate the lightsaber🤔 I tried clicking the b button to change my stance, but it's either the button or the game is bugged😅
Yup, I play most nights either on EJO or Jedi Rogues server on PC. Feel free to pop by, they both have good players. I might consider streaming soon if that's something people would be interested in.
guys I need help with my lightsaber, so I'm playing vader's castle and I have gotten my lightsaber stuck in my pillar and it is extremely difficult to progress without it, and I have deleted the save files I had before it got so I cannot go back before it got stuck. Is there any way to get it unstuck or restart the mission?
Hi Ive played this with my nephew a lot a decade ago and Im wondering what mods do I download and servers to join to get in the scene? I just cant get enough once I install it lol so I might as well play and try competitively
I am sorry, but these aiming tips don't belong in the same basics guide as basic swinging and swing chains do there are plenty of things that are way more important for a beginner to learn than aiming
Actually, aiming is pretty important, as it can greatly help with landing fatal blows or otherwise between high and low strikes to get around your opponent's guard. It's important to know each and every angle of your attack to take full advantage.
I'm gonna be brutally honest here. The combat really sucks. Like it's not revolutionary at all. You're just spamming a button and half the time the enemies kill you anyway. You make it seem like it takes a lot of thought, but no it doesn't. The combat feels very broken and very chaotic. I've tried playing it, but I can't seem to get the hang of it. So I guess it's not as perfect as everyone says it is. This video was not helpful in the slighest.
Combat is fine, I've seen people complete this game with 0 deaths. It's free form, so there are no auto combos aside from katas, and enemies have just as much freedom as you. It's easy to master when you put in the work and don't play like a scrub. No other Star Wars game has offered so much freedom, had realistic blade properties, or been so close to realistic combat overall.
@@Red-Renegade-Studios Sounds like you just suck at the game. Maybe try Padawan difficulty, or look up some let's plays. Fallen Order is just Dark Souls with glow sticks, you might as well say Battlefront II has the best lightsaber combat. Outcast and Academy actually feel like a real duel, when you can play it properly, and not just run around swinging your saber like a mad man. And it actually feels realistic.
So fitting you have Luke being our lightsaber combat teacher!
Ikr!
I already loved the combat while I didn't know how in depth it was and now I love it even more

Thanks bro I just got this game and while I'm enjoying it the lightsaber combat confused me so this was really helpful
Best combat in sw games literally felt like I was a jedi lol doing nasty flips over people and other cool shit
There really isn't another game like it yet, and there may never be another one as good.
