Oh. That does look like high tea done right. Once you experience it with Cunard, it’s hard to find one that tops it. This ship may be quick competition. Destinations done right. BALCONY done right. Everything apparently done right. I wonder if you could take the bath home as a souvenir.

Yes. There are some excursions which come with a small charge but no need to spend anything once on board. Often travel to and from the ship included too 👍

Great vlog! The way things are going in the cruise industry, the luxury cruises are looking more and more like the way to go; both in service and... Would you believe it, value for money! Also, as you know my feelings on shower curtains, I saw a vlog on the Cunard Queen Mary 2 Princess Grill suites. Shower curtains! Oh the horror! Keep up the good work while you're minding the gap.
We were just about to book this cruise for a 8nt cruise from Southampton Aug 2024, but unfortunately we have put off by the terrible reviews on Tripadvisor, most reviews were 1-3 stars, we have sailed with Regent many times over the the years so we were shocked to see such terrible reviews. It was great to see such a great review, I could be swayed now to book. Many thanks.
Oh dear, we have to say that was not our experience at all, we had a wonderful time. If you want some advise on booking then we would recommend calling our preferred and trusted friends at Panache cruises. Let them know we’ve recommended you and they should do you a good deal too 👍 Let us know if you decide to book a cruise and what you think of it.

Just hope the weather and sailing from Southampton will go as smoothly as the booking, not used Panache before but checked the reviews and they are excellent, plus it was our old travel concierge Katy who dealt with us from Sixstarcruises, she got us the best deal which another bonus. Okay, I am jealous. It's been a long time since i've been on a Seven Seas cruise, 2001 on the Navigator. I got a very good deal (after 9/11, so I wish I hadn't) it will be interesting to see what has changed.
Great video. The highest grade cabin we have been in is a Penthouse. Your. Suite and especially the veranda was HUGE. And quite Expensive. I know you had a good time. Glad you opted for the Sapporo beer in Pacific Rim. 😊
What a great review, everything about the ship looks amazing (and a world away from the Navigator which we where disappointed with). At Regent’s price point, I think they should use the “quiet box” for their tours, this would enhance the experience. Happy travels 🙏. OTBC!

Great vid. Seriously. I’d much rather take a different line and spend my money a bit differently (if you consider 7 nights at $5K.) For that price I could cruise on Ritz Carlton, or get a suite on royal/virgin/etc, THEN rent a large ski house right next to the mountain at Breckinridge for 2 months (about $10K/mo for a really nice house.) Or you could go to a wildly nice all inclusive resort in Mexico for a week and get showered in caviar. Or you could do a trip to bora bora, or a trip to Dubai and stay at the burj Al Arab/royal atlantis. In short I feel like there are so many different options that allow you to get a lot more out of the price. I wouldn’t mind trying this line for a 3-4 night cruise just for the experience but honestly I’d take all those other vacations first.
Tbf, that was the price for one of their top end suites. You could cruise for a lot less in one of their verandah suites which are equally as lovely, just smaller. And other than that you’d have the same experience 👍 Thanks for watching and commenting 😊

That was the price for the suite on the week long voyage we were on (though it was one of the more expensive suites, you could do this cruise for much less in a smaller suite). From memory most of the restaurants last seating was either 9pm or 9.30pm. Thanks for watching 😊

I think I gained a kilo just watching this video. Another stunner, loved the format, well done. I agree with another commenter that Regent should be chuffed. Always wondered if Regent was "worth" the cost over Oceania, you may have just convinced me.
Good video , but certainly not value for money .. I tend to agree with a lot of the comments. 700 people on a ship that’s structured and built to hold double its capacity is included in your cost. Your paying for the seclusion and exclusivity on a ship. The champagne should be higher end not what your drinking and as for Oyster Bay Sav Blanc it is a 16 quid bottle of wine .. mmmmmm leaves me perplexed at who’s pairing the wine and food, seems very low end for a high price. I sailed transatlantic on the QM2 a couple years back for $2000 / 7 Nights / Britannia Suite a very basic ticket and had a much higher end food and culinary wine experience than what you had. I can’t help thinking you’ve been ripped off a bit , but hey .. it’s your money and it looked fun and nice in parts 👍👍👍 Good video well edited ! 👌👍🥂

The suite we were in was $5000 per night. That was the ticket price. Yes, you can get deals on lower grades of suite. Sounds like you got a bargain! :D
I don’t spend THAT much per night! I just get a veranda or concierge veranda stateroom (fine for us peons-especially a solo paying double, lol-I don’t need a butler, thank you very much, and I save canapé calories!). But it’s a fabulous ship. I was just on the O Marina TA from Miami to Rome in April, which was also a nice ship. Looks like a great itinerary-have never been to Visby. Helen’s “workout” during yours.😂 Love the lobster tempura in Pacific Rim. I never made it anywhere but my room after evening entertainment. Very nice camera work and editing job!
At $5k per night , I was somewhat surprised at the level of house champagne and would have expected a different brand . The serving of Oyster Bay Sav Blanc was another surprise - whilst a good wine - its one that can be picked up at most UK supermarkets for around $10 and one brand I wouldn’t expect to be served on a high end experience / brand .
The choice of wine offered is always a matter of personal taste. We filmed what we were offered for the sake of authenticity but other wines and champagne was available. All you have to do is ask and if they can get it for you, they will. We were quite happy with what we were first offered. 🙂
No, it didn’t 😠 Can’t have everything I suppose 😞 I have now invested in a travel turban as I was advised to by so many people, though I didn’t take it on Regent assuming the towels would be large and luxurious. They were luxurious but not large! Helen 😁

Oh dear, we have to say that was not our experience at all, we had a wonderful time. If you want some advise on booking then we would recommend calling our preferred and trusted friends at Panache cruises. Let them know we’ve recommended you and they should do you a good deal too 👍 Let us know if you decide to book a cruise and what you think of it.

Okay, I am jealous. It's been a long time since i've been on a Seven Seas cruise, 2001 on the Navigator. I got a very good deal (after 9/11, so I wish I hadn't) it will be interesting to see what has changed.

Great video. The highest grade cabin we have been in is a Penthouse. Your. Suite and especially the veranda was HUGE. And quite Expensive. I know you had a good time. Glad you opted for the Sapporo beer in Pacific Rim. 😊

What a great review, everything about the ship looks amazing (and a world away from the Navigator which we where disappointed with). At Regent’s price point, I think they should use the “quiet box” for their tours, this would enhance the experience. Happy travels 🙏. OTBC!

Great vid. Seriously. I’d much rather take a different line and spend my money a bit differently (if you consider 7 nights at $5K.) For that price I could cruise on Ritz Carlton, or get a suite on royal/virgin/etc, THEN rent a large ski house right next to the mountain at Breckinridge for 2 months (about $10K/mo for a really nice house.) Or you could go to a wildly nice all inclusive resort in Mexico for a week and get showered in caviar. Or you could do a trip to bora bora, or a trip to Dubai and stay at the burj Al Arab/royal atlantis. In short I feel like there are so many different options that allow you to get a lot more out of the price. I wouldn’t mind trying this line for a 3-4 night cruise just for the experience but honestly I’d take all those other vacations first.
Tbf, that was the price for one of their top end suites. You could cruise for a lot less in one of their verandah suites which are equally as lovely, just smaller. And other than that you’d have the same experience 👍

That was the price for the suite on the week long voyage we were on (though it was one of the more expensive suites, you could do this cruise for much less in a smaller suite).
From memory most of the restaurants last seating was either 9pm or 9.30pm.

Good video , but certainly not value for money .. I tend to agree with a lot of the comments. 700 people on a ship that’s structured and built to hold double its capacity is included in your cost. Your paying for the seclusion and exclusivity on a ship. The champagne should be higher end not what your drinking and as for Oyster Bay Sav Blanc it is a 16 quid bottle of wine .. mmmmmm leaves me perplexed at who’s pairing the wine and food, seems very low end for a high price. I sailed transatlantic on the QM2 a couple years back for $2000 / 7 Nights / Britannia Suite a very basic ticket and had a much higher end food and culinary wine experience than what you had. I can’t help thinking you’ve been ripped off a bit , but hey .. it’s your money and it looked fun and nice in parts 👍👍👍 Good video well edited ! 👌👍🥂

Tbf you could do the cruise cheaper if you stayed in a smaller suite, the cost mostly relates to the large suite we had.
I don’t know about $5k per night. As an airline employee I did a 9 night cruise on Regents for $3400/person !
The suite we were in was $5000 per night. That was the ticket price. Yes, you can get deals on lower grades of suite. Sounds like you got a bargain! :D

I don’t spend THAT much per night! I just get a veranda or concierge veranda stateroom (fine for us peons-especially a solo paying double, lol-I don’t need a butler, thank you very much, and I save canapé calories!). But it’s a fabulous ship. I was just on the O Marina TA from Miami to Rome in April, which was also a nice ship. Looks like a great itinerary-have never been to Visby. Helen’s “workout” during yours.😂 Love the lobster tempura in Pacific Rim. I never made it anywhere but my room after evening entertainment. Very nice camera work and editing job!

At $5k per night , I was somewhat surprised at the level of house champagne and would have expected a different brand .
The serving of Oyster Bay Sav Blanc was another surprise - whilst a good wine - its one that can be picked up at most UK supermarkets for around $10 and one brand I wouldn’t expect to be served on a high end experience / brand .
The choice of wine offered is always a matter of personal taste. We filmed what we were offered for the sake of authenticity but other wines and champagne was available. All you have to do is ask and if they can get it for you, they will. We were quite happy with what we were first offered. 🙂

Did you get any special deals from Regent in exchange for the positive review? Are your revenues from the channel growing to the extent that you can now afford this type of suite?

Yes, we disclosed in the description that we were hosted on board by Regent who put us in this suite. However they did not pay us for any of our content or have any control over our content which we hope honestly reflects what it would be like to stay in this suite.
And no, we definitely don’t earn enough to pay to stay in a suite like this and rely on comped cruises to be able to bring you the variety of reviews and vlogs that we do.
