- 2017 Harman Eisner Artist in Residence Jeff Koons and entertainment industry titan and former Walt Disney Company chairman and CEO Michael Eisner, join in a conversation about creating wonder. From household appliances to iconic large-scale inflatables, Koons has pioneered transforming familiar subjects into captivating works of art, and democratizing access through major public art displays. Kicking off his Institute residency, Koons reflects on images of his work and discusses with Eisner his early life, breaking out, pop culture, and what it’s like to capture America’s imagination.
Eisner is about the worst interviewer I ever heard. Talks slow and and basically dominates the conversation. He is ignorant about art, maybe he compares Jeff Koons to Walt Disney, because their art looks similar.
Awesome you brought Michael into the talk. He really inspired me a lot.
Koons is just like his art, a mirror. How disappointed I am to see how many people focus on his finance instead of his soul. Indeed the child who enjoys his work is greater than the critic who envies it
Eisner saved the Walt Disney Company, and I’ll forever be grateful
you mean he destroyed it
Doc Hollowood no, I stand by my statement
#KINGKoons
he is the joke of the art world. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ is his only god
CEO interviews Artist? Terrible idea... Unless, of course your intent is to evoke an embarrassing irony in the case of Koons. If that's the case then kudos. Corporate art on full display.
blah blah blah...
Is it me or is it odd and creepy how Jeff koons makes everything sexual
Jeff Koons produces junk ... expensive junk
