I would add that Theo has a circle of the same size as LapuLapu, imo she is in the same "tier B" of AoE commanders together with LapuLapu. For the many grinders who don't have YSG (like myself), she will continue being in the 5 marches mix. And btw, why stop at 5 marches? Once you have 6 marches unlocked - you will add Aethel/Theo or CM/Theo or Boudica/Theo or Nevsky/Theo yourself.

Aethlflaed should certainly be in the mix. Recommending things like CM or pyyrhus with no healing at all seems very odd, anything without healing dies extremely quickly. I've been grinding barbs for the first time in a long while this kvk and imo anything past 3 marches doesn't add much cos while you gain a little bit of speed, you lose a ton in efficiency jumping between them all. Huo/hera is certainly the best single march, but i find it kills too quickly a lot of the time when managing a bunch of marches messing up chains on low 40s barbs.
I use Aethelfled YSG, Keira ZL, CC Hera, Moctezuma CY, Mina Lapu. Gotta have some epic gears but it saves the talent resets. R4 don’t stock those in my alliance. 😅 Needs to go back to my city after a few rounds though.
I chain with: 5511 richard/Exp ysg inf equipment full t5. Exp Zhuge/2111 shajar archer equipment full t5 I got mge rank 5 so ill get cy and do Nevsky exp/CY 3111 for my next chain march full cav equipment and t5.
You can, but you will not be able to get away with using discounted commanders. And I'd only stick to the super strong pairs like Huo/Hera, ZL/Shaj, etc.
u can actually especially if you focus on barb damage crystal tech barb damage gear green purple special talented with savage totem and good barb damage armaments its actually much easier than u think it is i assume ur military tech is all at lvl9
u can use richard ysg choe yeong zenobia martel hera zhuge shajar cc lapo lapo u want all of them at 5111 except martel cc and ysg u need max ysg 5511 charles and 5511 cc you should get that from tavern by the time ur at soc anyways u prob gonna run 1 cav or 3 infa 1 cav 1 archer i dont like using archers simply cause infantry and cavs barb damage gear is so much better i use all the march with infa except cc lapo lapo and zhuge shajar
so u dont really need that much investment in comms to chain 5111 most comm is enough except gold key comm and ysg of course its pretty cheap to build 5 march from scratch if u dont have ysg you can replace it with theo or cyrus but i prob just run 4 march in that case still choe yeong with zenobia is nuts haha for chaining just 5111 both and they never die

Nice video .Value your mental health more than ap, so dont use cyrus, please .Personally, i am not a t5 player, so i use richard /zhuge because the march needs to last longer , recalling the march all of time is annoying. SO from a weaker players perspective, it might be more valuable to rank higher survivability than ap reduction. My 0.02 dollars.
@@Alcibiades92 perfectly valuable 2 cents! If you have an archer set I’d recommend putting that ZL in front of the Richard for the AP reduction. But I completely understand not wanting to chain with a Cyrus
I honestly appreciate your content but in this case if you don't have equipment nor invest in crystal tech you can try many options but your marches will get destroyed in 2 chains.

@@TJMiton CM and Pyrrhus have healing in the defense tree. Paired with Hera making them very viable options!

i no longer wish to change my primary commanders which have the equipment so i just add 1 healer to each main commander.

Same size I believe, but theo doesnt have the vers tree.
