Not only that, A-chan actually did karaoke on the 1st Membership stream on Hololive Official Channel ^^
With A-chan and Nodoka being managers rather than talents, I would assume they have a fixed salary or hourly rate, so by joining the official channel memberships, people are just giving extra money to Cover. That's not necessarily bad, but I don't think people are spending the money with that in mind... rather, they may be thinking they're actually supporting A-chan and Nodoka directly, which I don't believe is the case. Of course, I can't know what exactly is in their contract, so it could work like that... I just don't think so.
@@tlk889 By that logic, supporting cover is supporting its employees, especially the one who is the face of the channel. So if she has a fixed salary, maybe she can use this to get a raise in the future.
@@7Pori we simply need a red superchat saying "Please give A-Chan and Nodoka a raise" then we can see what happens. Vtuber have more power then they think they do.
@@tlk889 I mean, if cover Corp gets hundreds to thousands of extra dollars in their monthly profit from a membership because of A-chan/Nodoka, it's not unlikely they'd give them a raise and/or a bonus as a reward and incentive to keep doing stuff like this

Technically, this membership is for Hololive in general, not specifically for A-Chan or Nodoka. Still, it speaks to the popularity of the two that do many memberships flew in so quickly. Maybe they’ll see a raise…
Well I just hope this membership would be used to incentivize the staff not just A-chan and nodoka but also those behind the scenes like their managers.

I'm pretty sure A-chan had a big hand in helping to create hololive in general (I remember reading that somewhere but don't quote me on it) so I'm sure she's compensated fairly. She also really seems to enjoy what she does as well, which is a good sign that that's the case, as no matter how much you love your job it's hard to enjoy it if you're struggling to get by.
That said I'm all for her getting a raise, she's precious
