I've just bought your book.... its the BEST foraging book I've ever bought !!! I love how it's been written ..... I love that you advise to pick one plant a week and learn about it.....I love the recipies and folk tales associated with each plant.... sometimes you think you have to learn it all....all at once then become overwhelmed when it doesn't stick.... the book is so straight forward to understand and there's REAL photographs.... I will be buying copies for friends ....well done guys !!!

Just found your page last week and I love your channel. So much so, I bought your book. Something tells me I'm going to need it before long. Love the book too, full of important information and it's all based in the UK. I'm in a wee village in Scotland so out in the sticks and this is the perfect book to help me grow my knowledge. Thank you Dane & Stella and your lovely family! Oh and p.s. hope your feet are warm now after the icy cold burn. 💚💚💚

Oh, that looks delicious! Here in the US, we call those ramps. I usually cook them with fried potatoes. But this looks so good!!!

Mmm. My favorite way to use A. tricoccum is to make a ramp butter (wild garlic butter in your area, I guess). Chop up the leaves fine and mix well in softened butter (either use salted butter or add salt while mixing). Freeze to preserve. It is my absolute favorite butter.
