Teaching The Connor McDavid Wide Leg Corkscrew Step by Step Drill Blueprint

Ever wanted to learn or teach the Connor McDavid wide leg corkscrew? In this video join Downhill Skating certified coach Ryan Shanahan as he shows how he teaches his players the wide legged McDavid corkscrew in action and how all magic 8 Downhill Skating mechanics link to this base mechanic posture.
It's straightforward - keep both feet flat on the ground or ice, cut on your inside edges while stickhandling, and get as wide as possible. Watch the hips rotate, and notice the significant speed boost with minimal effort.
