Love your videos man! I've been meaning to ask this: why does sometimes the exact same player card have a different overall skill number? Like your Neymar is 99 and mine is 98 for some reason. My Costacurta is 100 but yours is 97. When the new season started recently my Costacurta actually went from 98 to 100 and I have no idea why. I didn't change anything myself (not the coach or the formation or anything). Sorry if this is a dumb question.
Thanks man! Overall rating is based on the way you build your players. For example Costacurta, I build him as a CB instead of RB which is his main position. You probably leveled up his pace + passing which counts more on the overall rating than leveling up his defensive and aerial stats like I did and that's why my Costacurta is rated lower overall than yours. Having a higher overall rating doesn't mean that's the best possible build. Some can use the player in a different way and I find him more useful with a CB build. Besides this base overall rating you can get a booster depending on the manager you use. The higher the proficiency your manager has for your preferred playing style, the higher the boost for your players
@@Indominator94 Thanks a lot for the elaborate response man! This makes sense. I figured it was a few of those things but I wasn't sure. I actually only use him as a CB too. When the new season started his overall rating went up for me. He's definitely my best defender. He has everything except height, but he still wins a lot of aerial duels for me (kopduels for the dutchies haha). I love playing long balls with him and he's a defending beast.
