All due respect to you "Leeds Lately" the previous regime in collusion with the 49nrs have brought us to this desperate place, the price of missing out on promotion as I predicted correctly in January would lead to players being sold, such as Cree, Gnonto, Archie, Firpo, Archie, Dramah, Cresswell, James, Meslier, Darlow, even Rutter (all saleable assets). The daft loan deals coupled with Rodrigos ridiculously low exit fee, Bumfluffs inflated unearned contract extension, losing another half decent defender on a free, losses on the dross that Orta recruited, and of course the JKA debacle have lead us to having to find 75M very shortly and then a year later an estimated 135M~150M, this was explained by a financial expert commenting on Leeds FFP position not so long ago on RUclips, and the limitations of the owners on how much of their own money they could inject into the business. So other than the above mentioned players we have Strujk who will not be match fit for some time, we need a LB and a RB, a NB10, another striker, creative midfielder, decent goalie with a decent backup and get rid of Klaerson, so to raise money for all of these players some of the existing squad are going to have to be sold if you can contemplate giving Farke a transfer kitty to work with, then all of the fringe players, the rats and names mentioned above will have to be sold pretty quickly to satisfy FFP and to provide some kind of working capital to buy some decent players if there is any money left to accomplish this, so the furore over AG sale is muddying the waters to our actual situation and the immediate and long term stability, if we can get 30M or more for AG for an 18 year old I would take that considering Cree is only worth 18-25M tops!!!! and has scored over 20 goals this season, but even he will be sold along with others whether they like it or not. We also need to factor in that two of the three teams coming down are very capable on going straight back up if they keep the majority of there squads intact, we on the other hand will field a much weakened squad, that's the price of last seasons failure of which I place the blame squarely on Farke (mostly), the current players and the owners and the lack of seriousness they displayed to get the job done, we essentially missed out on 200M for the next 15 months and are facing a double wammy of FFP and dwindling finances to try and mount a credible promotion push for next season which I' am afraid won't happen! We sell Archie for 40m (could be double that in a few years) Harry will leave (another potential money earner gone) Isolate a family that optimises what Leeds is all about and then we have a fanbase divided. As Bielsa put it, you can replace players, managers, staff and owners however you cannot replace the fans and fans are the clubs' bread and butter. It's not really a step up. Spurs are a nothing club with a fat manager with an attitude problem. They haven't won the title since the 60s. Leeds are a bigger club and we'd be above them if we didn't sack Bielsa.
