Sadly , The Kinks never recorded I Go To Sleep .. so well done by The Pretenders on their second album. There is a nice Ray Davies demo but that's it. Beautiful song.

I know it’s a boring answer but my favorite Kinks song is Lola. Their most famous song but I really do find it endlessly fascinating. Way ahead of its time with gender being such a controversial topic these days. But really, the Kinks have a ton of great songs, too many to list.

Oh that is KC WITH the Sunshine Band...Give it Up was on their second album on Epic & a #1 UK hit but the label wouldn't release the single in the US so KC decided to release it as a single in the US himself & it became a US hit solo, but it is a Sunshine Band hit...3rd box I call Lady Gaga...and the choice?? SIA
