Looks like you found your happy place, can't wait to see you discover Erina Fair
Oh I've been there.. may times 😅 wow - was NOT expecting it to be that big! It's amazing 😅
You look a lot more settled and relaxed now Kim. Your new area looks fab. Would love to see a weekend video for sure 😊
Fell much more relaxed here - I think its being near the sea! Just a much more slower pace of life here too and the locals are super friendly! :)
Lovely vlog thank you xx keep them coming xxx hope your enjoying your new home x❤
@katecain1300 thank you, I'll film a weekend one next I think. Glad you are enjoying them ❤
You're definitely more settled there, you can see it. Another lovely vlog, always enjoyable. What a life! Enjoy every minute ❤
Much nicer here for sure, feels like exactly what we moved for. I sometimes forget we actually live here and not just on holiday! It's great 😊
Loved the vlog kim, been watching since you moved over . You and your family seem so happy now. it makes me excited to move to perth at the end of the year!
Thank you so much for your support! Definitely feel much more settled here, I'm not a city girl so this area is more my pace of life ❤ how exciting for you! X
Great video, you look like you’ve find your place really glad you are getting settled, been watching your videos for a while now and it’s been lovely to see your journey. We are going through the visa process at the minute, hope to be as settled as you are there one day! Would love to see a weekend one take care xx
Ah congratulations, its a huge decision to move but hopefully you are finding my videos enjoyable and looking forward to it all! 😊
I am glad you call Central Coast home . Enjoy life because we all deserve to !
Loved your vlog Kimberley, Been to that beach a few times, One of my favourites. I live in Scotland but my son lives on the Central Coast with his family. I really like your channel and your children are lovely, Thank you, Kindest regards x
I love this so much, thank you for taking the time to comment! How lovely that you have family here - what a beautiful place to visit them!! 😊 hopefully scotland isn't too wet just now! X
Love this vlog. Love seeing clips of the local area and what you are getting up to. 🥰
Thank you! I'll get more soon I promise 😅 x
Enjoyed it very much 🌞
Very kind of you. Thank you! ❤
I’m so excited for June ahhh!! It looks so peaceful and zen🥹x
Not long now! ❤
Love watching these vlogs. Me, the hubby and three kids are moving to NSW from Scotland later this year and these videos really help to get an idea of what it'll be like. We'll mostly likely be moving to Newcastle, so not far from where you are now. Thanks for sharing everything ❤
Ahhh congratulations, not long! I hope everything's going smoothly for you all. My husband was in Newcastle today and said it was lovely. Anywhere on the coast is beautiful ❤ glad you are enjoying my videos x
@@kimberleylucas aaahh thanks! Not long now... But it still feels mike's away. So much to do to prepare! Still waiting on the visa grant so nothing concrete yet but we're visiting next month to get a feel for some areas. Looks like you guys are starting to see more of a life near the beach. Excited to see how you get on living a bit more "rural". ❤️
Mike's 🤣 obviously meant miles!
G'day! Welcome to the lovely Central Coast! I am lucky with the bugs since my house has a resident gecko who moved in about 18 months ago and keeps the numbers of bugs to a minimum...After moving up here from Sydney I found the people to generally be quite a bit friendlier up here...Cheers!
Absolutely! People actually WAVE TO YOU here 😅 it's so much better than Sydney, in my opinion anyway. Jealous of your Gecko! We currently have a kookaburra who eats all our worms 😅
Your kids are so sweet. You're doing a great job, KIm! My kids are teenagers now but I remember when they were little, I'd try to wear them out during the day too. Only problem was I'd wear myself out even more!!
Oh yes, two crazy kids and 30 degree heat has me shattered by 1pm 😂 forever counting the hours till Euan gets home!
Great to see your settled in. You really are trying to live your best life 🎉. Just a note on the spiders and cockroaches. Get a broom and brush the webs away before they set up home. I always surface spray under the lip of the garbage bin (where you see all those webs 🤬) . You will come to recognise red back webs. They also love to hide in rockeries, the garage, sheds and under your outdoor furniture (I surface spray under the chairs too). Red backs are quite shy and would much rather run from you. Funnel webs on the other hand will rear up and defend themselves. I have only ever seen one many years ago in my laundry after building works nearby. It definitely put up a fight but I had toddlers so there was no way it was living in our house.
You may have to get use to the flying black cockroaches that come in occasionally in the warmer months. It’s the small brown European ones that will breed quickly in your house.
Thank you for all these tips! The first thing I'm going to do tomorrow is spray my bin. My pest guy said he done it for me but I'll just be extra sure! Also great tips on the broom, I'll also do this tomorrow. Thank you 😊
I couldn’t see sun protection on the children in the high UV
I put our sun cream on my children every morning before we get dressed, i would never film this as its very inappropriate.
@@kimberleylucas
No suggestion that you film putting on sunscreen. I was concerned re lack of broad brimmed hats and shirts
Important to stay safe in Australia l have 3 rules .I'm 60 and born 1963 in country Victoria Australia...l am very cautious walking threw the bush and grasslands off the walking tracks
Rule 1.dont put hands in cracks or crevices. Or under pot plants ect.
Rule 2 .dont go running threw long grass where you cant see whats in the grass. Could be snakes 🐍 Rule 3. Never dive or jump into rivers without checking .and be a very good and confident swimmer in waves and understand rips n currents...l have never had a problem l go in bush and grasslands every week on my dirtbike. I wear motorcross boots always mainly icase a snake tries to bite me.l did run over a tiger snake last year but l was going pritty fast..it was a cooler day he was a bit slow..
Hi lovely. My mil lives in Scotland and is an avid follower. I have a 2 year old son and live on the central coast. Thought maybe you might want to catch up for a coffee and make a new mum friend. If so reach out. X
Oh how lovely! Always open to meeting new mum friends! Are you on insta at all? I can message you there x
@@kimberleylucas I am :) I’ve msged you
Great video mate keep em coming , keep on top of the redbacks they can be nasty little buggers ! 🕷
Thankfully the spray seems to be working already and the family are gone. Hopefully we don't get any more as I'm not too keen on them!
It is unfortunate that you gave the name of the suburb where you live, and preferred beach. It will be even more crowded on the weekends. Thankfully between 0600-0900 it is crowded with only locals
There are a lot of great videos on youtube about Terrigal, I can't hide a little gem like this! :)
Oh nooooo!!! Give anything from McDonald's to taste children 🤯 you can give an alcohol or poison either.
Sorry, I'm not understanding?
@@kimberleylucas I'm really sorry English is my third language. Please don't give your children anything from McDonald's. It is very unhealthy. You have beautiful children look after them and pay attention what they eat, try to give them just organic food not this rubbish.
@KM-dy2cx my kids eat a very healthy balanced diet and I allow them a treat now and then. They aren't eating anything from mcdonalds in this video, I just bought them a drink as it was 32 degrees and needed something cool. My children are very well looked after. Happy and healthy 🙂
Squishy yogurt from Aldi full of sugar more than 10 very unhealthy ingredients , cereals full of sugar and plenty of ingredients too. Sweet drink from McDonald's and you call it a healthy and balanced diet? Give them water to drink and for breakfast natural yogurt with or porridge. Take it as good advice actually I'm an expert in if we talk about nutrition and diet planning@@kimberleylucas
