I used to work for a tuna buyer and was on wicked tuna a few times. Happy for you showing the reality of this business. The men who fish these beasts are a different breed.
Guys, Best masterpiece yet on video. Made my 200 lb + yellowfin 2 1/2 hour battle on 80 lb mono look like a tug a war match compared to your record breaking bream caught. in much shorter time, that you caught. LOL. Fish on gentlemen.
Age is tough with these guys- average lifespan of 15 years- typically live to 26 years but some have been clocked at 40+ years old! They reach maturity around 15 years old- so it’s safe to say it would be over 15 years old
@@CoastalWorldwide1 yea but "he can't stay down with 3 barrels, not with three barrels he cant"... come on you cant fish MTK and not get me here. Great video!
I mean your guy just is selling to the wrong people. Fishermen in Japan are getting rich off this shit lol. Here's a quote from a Japanese fish auction. "During the first tuna auction of the new year at Tokyo's Toyosu Fish Market, a bluefin weighing 238 kilograms sold for JPY 114.24 million (USD 787,342, EUR 720,740) - the fourth-highest amount on record and a sign of renewed confidence in the economic recovery of Japan’s hospitality industry." BTW they got that radiation water also and don't wanna admit it...imagine that lol wild.
That bluefin that sold for that ended up being a dick measuring contest between a couple people to get the “first tuna” of the year. There is no one else to sell for and this is and has been the going price depending on the fish- don’t believe everything you see on tv 😂
Y’all are certainly living up to the channel name, gotta love it.

Yes they do unfortunately- but it gets views- accurate videos don’t get the views 😮💨
Garbage Prices.
I used to commercial Mullet fish. I know how hard of work it is for little pay.
Yep! It’s a downhill battle for the bluefin dudes up there
I’d be scared that 50 locks up and go flying off the boat
Not the maks 👀😮💨🔥
It’s not a Trx Dylpickle 😫
Please always leave clicker on how could you hate the sound of a fish running
