I am knee-deep in trying to make videos interesting 2/3 the way in. I know they need to change, but I don't want the change to be so abrupt that it calls more attention to itself than to the song. But thanks for giving me some more to think about (especially when it comes to the NEXT of our 13 more music videos we'll be creating). 🙌🏾
@Paulmcxxx1 Actually the floor was just a regular floor. The "room" was mobile, and the camera fixed to the "wall". They simply pushed the "room" around on it's rollers to create the effect.
I'm thinking the unique idea for the band Chilli Peppers, was somewhat beaten by the Beatles stopping London traffic, recycled yes, unique in general or to the band, no. BUT this was actually the best help vid I've seen you guys do working on all levels in any country, I've never yet been connected to any shoot that works in the way you guys speak though, in 'absolutes' a good idea is one that has flexability for alteration isn't it?
@dhe3kmaskthird they build three walls on wheels, the floor never moves. The camera is locked and mounted with the walls. A crew is moving the entire set up, creating the illusion of a moving floor. In some shots the couches are locked to the walls and thus moving, and in some they are not. One of my favorite videos, but keep in mind although it sounds simple, if it wasn't for Kay's dancing the video would not work.
I have tons of creative ideas for music videos, problem is they are so creative that the artists are usually too skeptical to let me do them, so they end up asking me to do something boring instead :/
No one watched Jamiroquai - VIRTUAL INSANITY because it looked like it was in a mad house! It was because of the amazing dancing! You people are bell ends.
Crazy was meant to make you feel like you were being treated by a psychiatrist. Virtual Insanity resembles a mental institution.. Anyone see a common thread?
Ideas is one thing. Paying for them to come to life is another.
This is way too true!!

Top notch (again)
the walls are static, and the ground is a moving 'track' - like a treadmill.

Nice, but most of everything seem so much more advance to make for the average person.
