When you pulled all of the stuff out of your pockets made me think of my CCW. I have carried a firearm everyday for 35 years now. After a few years, it was like my wallet, pocket knife, money clip and other items worn every day. It was just “there” and when it wasn’t, it was like leaving your wallet at home and having the feeling something was missing. For my first 20 or so years I carried an original Glock 17 (mod. 1) with no attachments or modifications. I live in Florida and had no problem concealing it in a IWB holster. I did end up with a box of holsters until I found the one I liked. About 5 years ago I started carrying a Springfield Armory XDS 3.3 .45 ACP with a Crimson Trace flashlight/laser combination. With this one, I use a Blade Tech IWB holster designed for the gun with the flashlight/laser mounted on it.
Right on. Try the new Springfield Hellcat Pro... 15 rounds in a flush fit mag and the gun itself is very slim. If you love the XDS (which I do), you'll love the pro even more
I carried the1911 for 12 years in the Army MP Corps. Then, I carried several different things for different agencies and retired from division six with the Sig 229. I now have the 365xl with the Romeo Zero as well. I purchased the kit with the "tacticool" OD Green lower and Romeo. I really appreciate it.
Canik Combat Executive with a Holosun 508T , Disruptive Defense compensator in a leather holster and spare 18rd mag in a mag pouch. 33rds total of Speer Golddot +P+ Hollow points
I love my P365X. I bought it because I didn’t want the longer XL barrel in my pants and digging into my groin, but I did want the larger grip. I have a 2 round mag extension by Maggutz that Doesn’t even Change the length of the 12 round magazine. Well, maybe 1/4 inch longer. So it’s still very concealed in the appendix position and I have 14+1 at the ready. And I also added the new Holosun 507 Green circle dot, and a Faxon barrel. It shoots amazing and functions flawlessly. I couldn’t imagine there being a better concealed carry on the market
I've added pepper spray to my EDC. It is nice to have something between a harsh word and a gun. And yes, I've trained to get to it quickly and have been sprayed multiple times for training.
I like my Hellcat in the summer, even with 15 round mag, it's still pretty small. Also, I like my S&W 640 or LCP Max for pocket carry on the really hot days.
On the knife: I like CRKT, I’ve owned a couple of them before, but over the last couple years I’ve been carrying a Dewalt pocket knife. Thing is it’s a really well built knife, tanto style with serrated portion, comes razor sharp and it’s about $10 at Home Depot. I don’t even bother to sharpen it because I can just pick up a new one for $10. When I go on vacation, I don’t bother packing it for my flight. When I get to where I’m going, my first stop is the local Home Depot and I’m ready to go. When I head back home I give it to the person dropping me off at the airport.

Correct. In fact, there was so much concern, that at one point the astronauts were told they would have to shave all body hair off. The reply was no, and if its that critical maybe we can't do this. True but funny. As it turned out, probably some overreaction to the unknowns. The Lunar Excursion Module (LEM) was in fact, not very sterile. But graphite dust and eraser shaving? Not good -probably. Also in lab type work, you use pen and line out-never erase, in general.
Keys, wallet, light, nicotine, phone, knife, G43X. I'm a minimalist, I don't need to carry an entire army in my pockets. I keep enough in my car to get home. Car same as pockets tho, I don't need to have a year's worth of prep.

I’m digging your videos. Very informative. I like to carry a Glock 43x with a TLR6 red dot/flashlight combo. I use the On Your Six kydex IWB and OWB. How about and instructional video on AR-15, DB-15 slings, how to and how not to. Thanks for what you do. Frank

I was rocking my Glock 21C at the time in an appendix holster, so we were in good hands.
My EDC is the big, outdated, clunky thing with a Crimson Trace red dot, light guard and laser grips (pre red dot just left on) and suppressor height front sight. Spare mag is a 10 rounder. A Leatherman Wave, Steamlight mini angled flashlight, Car keys with a Leatherman micro and CRT seatbelt cutter. Cold Steel original AK-47 folder (much beefier than the new version). I live in the Pacific Northwest and with a good IWB it is really rare when weather is too hot for concealment with a well sized untucked mechanics, Hawaii shirt or a vest. The 1911 is sometimes supplemented with a new Colt Python, If I have to do something smaller which is rare A Sig P 238 with Crimson Trace laser grips in a Alien gear IWB.
As far as a CCW weapon I carried a Glock 19 for almost two years and now I carry a Glock 43x mos night and day difference but I will always still have love for my 19
I carry a Ruger EC9s almost everywhere, including my home, but my EDC leaving the house pistol is a S&W M&P9 5 inch FDE w/ambidextrous safety. Depending on what & where I'm going, I have 5 holsters for it from leg holsters to OWB to IWB with and without a mounted weapon light (Yeah, it's an inexpensive Chinese aluminum 1200 lumen PIC-rail mounted light that has never failed. I actually have another one on my "bedside gun," a Grand Power Stribog SP9A1.) With my belt guns, I carry two extended-capacity magazines (9-round for the EC9s & 23-round for the M&P9).
My EDC is simply my R7 Mako from Kimber. I love the gun so much, it strikes a great balance between a CCW and a capable duty sidearm very well. My only complaint is probably the same as everyone else's, and that's the awkwardly short grip that has no pinky purchase. It's still got a very manageable recoil, and it's deadly accurate. I've pinged steels at 200 yards and have had no failures after approx. 600-700 rounds and a few drops. Kimber did a great job, considering it was their very first polymer frame strikerfire handgun. This gun needs a lot more love than what it's getting
I like the 365 but even for my dwarf hands 10 rounders with pinky extensions are barely enough so I'd go with 12 or the 15 rounders. Either way seems like a solid gun.

I live in MO and an Army Veteran (Panama Invasion and Desert Storm). During the winter I carry my M9 Beretta (which I was able to purchase when I left the Army). During the summer I carry my Sig Sauer P938.
Running the Springfield Armory Mod 2. 9mm subcompact with a 13+1 round magazine when concealed and the 16+1 round magazines when not. 2 backup 16 round mags one loaded with Underwood 147 +p hardcast and one with 147 grain HST's. With a Drop Leg holster or a Mission First Tactical appendix holster (Depending on what the day brings). A CRKT M-21-04. A card case, keychain pepper spray, Thrunite flashlight, Gerber Armbar Drive. Smiths knife sharpener.
FNS9C FDE 12rd in vedder light tuck. Buck knife folder, pepper spray, keychain olight. All season round. I have tried many others,fns9c is the trick. Sometimes a 3a+ vest.
I just use my Canik TP9 Elite SC for my general purpose pistol since it’s neither too small nor too big and can still easily fit in a pocket. Awesome trigger too.
same as I carry everyday, Cold Steel knife, wallet, keys, pistol, bright flash light, and a Cane Masters cane. The cane is very effective and you can take it any where.
I carry the same pen... While i may not agree with spending loads for it to write in space... i have used it in the rain on sheet metal... was a miserable day but i value my pen even more now.
The carry gun that I plan to use once I get proficient enough with it (and enough rounds through it) is the Sig P365 XL. I also want to mount a light/laser combo on it, and a Red dot sight ultimately. :)
I got a Ruger LCP Max9 which would work, also got a S&W 637. Nice light by the way, Clint, I like the Stiletto. I generally carry a Spyderco. I always referred to the “CRKT” as “circuit” for some reason. I too am a note take! Lol at the Russian pencil comment!!! Generally, when one ability to sense is reduced or diminished, others kick in. Guys fighting in tropical foliage like in the WW2 pacific or Vietnam, their eyesight wasn’t the best but they could smell and hear well.
My EDC. Glock 19 red dot sight and Olight light on my gun. Push dagger, Olight light 1400 lumens. Spiderco civilian, Vipertech knife,Double mag pouch and a lighter. Some call me crazy.
I carry a back pack with an extra jacket, a pen and pad, an extra head warmer (beanie) a fixed blade and a lighter and on my person I carry a Glock 26 gen 3 with a folding knife and a flashlight. Working on adding more things
What I daily carry is my Smith and Wesson m&p9 m2.0 compact optics ready with a thumb safety and flat face trigger in an urban carry G3 holster. I carry a 10 million volt tazer, my pocket knife and my wallet. Needless to say I'm VERY armed.
Critique on your videos. More close ups of the things you are talking about would be very helpful. Also maybe get out from behind a counter when showing how things are actually carried. Always love the content.
I (like alot of people) have sort of a rotation of carry guns. CZ P10S, 365XL, Hellcat Pro and a few others. The P10 is a little thicker than the others but it's such a good shooter and the ergos (and trigger) are second to none. I will say that as far as the super slim carry pieces go - the Hellcat Pro is the best out there right now and it's really not even close in my opinion
I carry a P365 SAS most days of the year. I work at a pawn shop, so carrying is almost a requirement. I rotate in the G29 (10mm ftw) once in a while. And carry a G19 in my gym bag lol
I carry the sig p365 with 12 round mag. I’ve tried carrying different guns but nothing I’ve tried is as comfortable as the 365. I rotate sometimes but always go back to the 365
@@CheeseBurgerXJ 3.1 on the p365. The p365XL has a 3.4 or 3.5 inch barrel. I kinda wish I went with the XL but it wasn’t an option at the time I bought mine
Clinch Pick (WPS edition), WPS tactical pen, a S&W drop point knife that I'm not happy with (belt clip doesn't stay tight), H&K VP9 (17+1) with extra mag (+17), Swampfox Liberty Optic with shield, Streamlight TLR7A in T1C appendix in USA Flag colors, and a magnetic magazine pocket clip holding a 3rd mag (+17, total 52 rds of hollow point). Looking for a better knife. All cars have First Aid/Trauma Kits. For night time, I also have a streamlight pocket light.
I have a EDC a Gerber Crucial Multitool, Streamlight Macrostream USB and either an M&P 2.0 Compact Slide/Full Size Grip or a Performance Center Shield Plus 4”. I also sometimes throw in the Kore x Toor Defender EDC Knife.
I have tried those sidecar type of holster but those never conceal well enough on me. I end up going with just a simple AIWB holster with or without a light. Depending on where I am going. I really like QVO tactical holsters, LAS concealment, trex arms, and tier one concealment. I wear the QVO and LAS the most. Also another good holster is Blackpoint tactical mini wing. I good 4 o’clock position holster. I usually carry an extra mag in my pocket. Most self defense shootings are usually 3 rounds or less. Always some type of knife usually a 3” or less blade length. (I like that size.) I probably use my knife the most of all my everyday carry stuff. I am always opening boxes. Another useful thing to carry is a multi tool like a leather man with pliers and screwdriver, etc. Flashlight I like the stream light Protac 1L-1aa. It is cheaper than other options durable and can run a cr123 or AA battery. I use the CR123 for Max lumens 350. If your battery died and you were out and about you could probably find a AA to use until you could get another CR123. Another thing I carry that has been useful is a little BIC lighter. I do not smoke and never have and never will. But I have used it to light candles at a party where they couldn’t find a match or lighter. I wear a simple analog watch. Keys, chapstick, wallet, phone. Belt is a NeXBelt with the tiniest buckle they have. Pants or shorts are either 5.11 tactical or vertex. Those extra mag pockets are so usefull when carrying all that stuff.
Sig 365 with grey ghost precision slide and Sig Romeo zero optic is my main carry. On the scorching days down here in the south it’s the Ruger LCP in the pocket.
As for the hearing thing goes, when you start shootinh in a high adrenaline environment, you don’t even notice the sounds at all. You can still hear just fine, there is no ringing, nothing hurts, none of that is important enough for the brain to focus on. My very first time hunting, I saw the deer and I had so much adrenaline, I forgot to put my ear pro on. And I didn’t even notice the sound of the 45-70 going off. I didn’t even feel the recoil either. And I didn’t have any ringing in my ear after. The brain knows what is and isn’t important.
Sig p365xl in a Vedder light tuck. extra mag in a vedder mag tuck. All riding on a Blue Alpha Low Profile EDC Belt. Streamlight microstream usb light. CRKT spew knife also mounted to my belt.
I carry a 365XL with the RomeoZero and a TLR7sub in a T-Rex sidecar. I have MagGuts in my 12 rounders so they're 14 but still flush for concealed and a 15 as backup 🤙🏻
I'm that guy duty pistol. 4.25in m&p 2.0 s&w 18+1 have no issues with being able to conceal it comfortable if I choose. USMC tactical knife, 3000 lumen tactical light. Big gun, Big Knife,Big Light, I may have a slight Napoleon complex...lol God Bless America.
I have that same M16 knife and the screws came out of the handle, so I only carry either benchmade, gerber, or kershaw knives now. For pistols my choice is the Glock 19, I have a 3rd gen pistol.
Would y'all want to do a gear set up video showing off all the tools and such you'd want on your plate carrier and battle belts and how you'd arrange it all? Maybe even what radios y'all like
I used to carry my Smith and Wesson SD40 on my side OWB, but I bought the standard p365 for conceal carry, 12 round mag and a 15 rounder on my side. Also have my Smith and Wesson M&P switch blade. Oh and my wallet, phone, keys etc. (pick my name for the savage)
Yeah, carrying during the summer in the South, especially being a big guy, sucks. I usually stick to revolvers during the summer, mainly a S&W 642 or a Taurus 605 always OWB in a belt holster.
I carry open, that my choice don’t have so I carry a G17 with a vortex viper, and a Olight pl mini, yes I know “Olight go boom” I haven’t had an issue but I do plan on getting a new light. My holster is a Werkz M7 I carry on OTF pocket knife A “tactical” pen with a glass breaker on it My wallet Keys, with that I have a Gerber utility knife. And I carry a Gerber skeletonized knife on my back for left handed draw.
CRKT makes some good EDC options. CEO Flipper even identifies as a "letter opener" (or vape) if you have a "it won't happen here" workplace that thinks self defense ability is paranoia.
If a gun can shoot off over 400 rds without any issues, then that's gonna be the one I'm going to consider for EDC. g2c was mine for a long time til I grabbed a g3
Clint, my winter EDC is Mod 1 custom Glock 23 with holosun 803C red dot and TRL7A. T-Rex arms custom side car with extra mag carrier attachment. Summer Is a Mod 1 custom Glock 42 with plus 2 mag extension (yes it’s a .380) TRL 6 laser/light combo

I have the p365xl and love it, also have the m&p shield 45 as my edc for now and love it as well, will prolly look into a holster for the SIG soon enough to start carrying as well
per the intro: "it's hot, can't edc a full size..." May I introduce the Hawaiian style shirt. Can be found in all colors, solids to prints, with SPF protections too.
I switch between my sig p365 in a we the people holster and my shadow systems xr 920 in my trex arms sidecar 2.0 with the extra mag attachment. My edc knife is the Benchmade Auto Stryker.

Sig P365X. I don’t see many people cover that model, only the XL. The X barrel is just slightly shorter while still giving you 12+1 capacity.
My favorite is the xl slide on the 365 grip with the slightly larger magguts mod

EDC summer carry, g43x with night sights Very minimalist. EDC winter carry, p80 PFC9 with a streamlight tlr-1hl
I live in MO and an Army Veteran (Panama Invasion and Desert Storm). During the winter I carry my M9 Beretta (which I was able to purchase when I left the Army). During the summer I carry my Sig Sauer P938.
Shadow System CR920 Elite extra 13 round mag. Straight blade, flip blade, a torch, tactical pen, challenge coin, wallet
Summer carry is Glock 26, Emerson Mini Commander, and flashlight is a Olight handheld.
Canik TP9 Elite, compact, 15+1, Red Dot cut, serrated slide, Canik price tag, and a canik trigger!
The Ruger Max 9 with Red Dot is what I carry during warm weather months. I love it and it has never jammed in well of 1,000 rounds.
Waft kind of pants you wear that you carry in a pocket and it not print? Or is that not a concern?
@@Edgar-gx6yn try alabama pocket holsters they are greattttt. You just buy pants that have sized pockets that fit your needs.
same as I carry everyday, Cold Steel knife, wallet, keys, pistol, bright flash light, and a Cane Masters cane. The cane is very effective and you can take it any where.
I carry a P30 just about every day. Currently carrying my K frame .38 while I'm waiting on my replacement holster clip to get in.
Springfield Hellcat, Bravo concealment IWB, Benchmade Adamis mini, leatherman Squirt & a streamlight Pro Tac 2AA
I have a 365XL,wouldnt all the doo dads make it more likely to grab on the way out?Im thinking about just iron sites
Just practice more with it so you don't need a red dot for a self defense situation that's within 5-7 yards.
Carry s&w MP 3.3 45cal..love ..perfect conceal that packs a punch
Central Florida summer. micro compact, 1 spare mag , Swiss army knife , dive watch , flip flops , t shirt , shorts. Wedding ring
You don’t need that kind of negativity. Sounds good, I’ll switch the 19 to a 17 though.
Sig p365xl with tlr8g light laser/light, Winchester ranger hollow points in 15 round spare mag and Critical duty Hollow points in flush for 12 round mag, Microtech UTX 85, valtcan titanium pen, stream light rechargeable 250 lumen flashlight, Forest&Harold front pocket wallet
I carry a back pack with an extra jacket, a pen and pad, an extra head warmer (beanie) a fixed blade and a lighter and on my person I carry a Glock 26 gen 3 with a folding knife and a flashlight. Working on adding more things
Was rocking the original g43 for 7 years. Finally got a hellcat pro. Liking it so far 👍
My g43x is my ccw. Great gun
P365X, great shooter, Optic ready, light weight and can be had for under $600,
P365 with Wilson Combat grip module, 12 round mag with the +2 innards of Magguts. Larger rounded grip with 14+1 capacity.
Sig P365 in a Sticky Holster either in my pocket or waistband the S&W Shield Plus in a Sticky Holster in my Waistband. One or the other.
I carry a P365 SAS most days of the year. I work at a pawn shop, so carrying is almost a requirement. I rotate in the G29 (10mm ftw) once in a while.
And carry a G19 in my gym bag lol
My favorite summer carry is the Kahr P40. Low capacity, but enough. Slim, light easy to conceal.
I carry the sig p365 with 12 round mag. I’ve tried carrying different guns but nothing I’ve tried is as comfortable as the 365. I rotate sometimes but always go back to the 365
How long is your barrel I was looking at a couple p320 and p365 for ccw yesterday
@@CheeseBurgerXJ 3.1 on the p365. The p365XL has a 3.4 or 3.5 inch barrel. I kinda wish I went with the XL but it wasn’t an option at the time I bought mine
Which holster?
It’s cricket, got a foresight a while back and love it
Sig 365 with grey ghost precision slide and Sig Romeo zero optic is my main carry. On the scorching days down here in the south it’s the Ruger LCP in the pocket.
If you aren't wearing a belt during warmer weather, a belly band holster is really useful.
Lol
Lol
Sig p365xl in a Vedder light tuck. extra mag in a vedder mag tuck. All riding on a Blue Alpha Low Profile EDC Belt. Streamlight microstream usb light. CRKT spew knife also mounted to my belt.
Glock 43x appendix in the summer , Gerber knife , olight , pen, Gerber mini multi tool , wallet , keys , phone . Everyday . 19mos in the winter
Multi-Tool, Pocket Knife, Flashlight, Pen, Glassbreaker, Bandana, Blaster.
What should you EDC? A Barret .50 cal with a m249.
Wow what do you do for a living 😳🤣
Saw is a great backup to the barret
I agree you shouldn't often train without hearing protection, but i do think you should do it once just to understand the additional stress it adds
I carry a Cz45 in .25acp
It's small and it hurts
If that doesn't work..the 365xl 507k will surely get the job done
I carry a 365XL with the RomeoZero and a TLR7sub in a T-Rex sidecar. I have MagGuts in my 12 rounders so they're 14 but still flush for concealed and a 15 as backup 🤙🏻
I carry a Sig P320C in 357 sig everyday all day !!! I live in South West Florida 😎
Nice job bringing back Robin Williams with the space pen/writing tool reference :)
Rex zero 1 compact tactical with rmr
Safariland 576 (universal)
Microtech stitch
Streamlight wedge
Keys ect
Kershaw leek - pick your flavor. I dig the blade, works for me
I have that same M16 knife and the screws came out of the handle, so I only carry either benchmade, gerber, or kershaw knives now.
My holster is a Werkz M7
I carry on OTF pocket knife
A “tactical” pen with a glass breaker on it
My wallet
Keys, with that I have a Gerber utility knife.
And I carry a Gerber skeletonized knife on my back for left handed draw.
I usually carry a fullsize g17 with olight valkyrie pro and trijicon rmr. I really should get into carrying a knife and an extra light honestly.
CRKT makes some good EDC options.
CEO Flipper even identifies as a "letter opener" (or vape) if you have a "it won't happen here" workplace that thinks self defense ability is paranoia.
CZ ProTek I, CZ Rami, CZ P07, CZ Semi Compact Bull Shadow,1911 u, RI BBR 3.10, Hellcat
yes I carry a shadow systems dr920, streamlight tlr-hl and holosun 508t
If a gun can shoot off over 400 rds without any issues, then that's gonna be the one I'm going to consider for EDC. g2c was mine for a long time til I grabbed a g3
Clint, my winter EDC is Mod 1 custom Glock 23 with holosun 803C red dot and TRL7A. T-Rex arms custom side car with extra mag carrier attachment.
Summer Is a Mod 1 custom Glock 42 with plus 2 mag extension (yes it’s a .380) TRL 6 laser/light combo
a plate carrier loadout to go with a suppressed AR would be pretty sweet. maybe a suppressed MCX istead.
Right now until I get some more guns…
My Spring/Summer carry is either my
Sig 365 XL or Sig 320 X Compact or Sig 320 Nitron Compact in .45
Autumn/Winter carry here in Wisconsin is either my Sig 320 AXG Pro or Sig 320 V Tac or Sig 320 X 5 Legion
Also have my 4in Hogue knife and my Streamlight 88081 Pro Tac
On this plat I won't go on the record.
However my grandma carried a hatpin... or a Derringer WW1&2 time frame. Could I've been inspired? Could be.
Edc Tauras G2c, extra mag, knife ,flashlight ,wallet. Alcohol pad and bandage.
Due to the work I do, I CC a Sig 938, but I have a Sig P320 with 18 friends in the car.
I like my Glock 19. I have bullseyed at around 15 yards and two other shots in the inner ring - straight irons. I'm pretty proud of myself.
Much love from Charlotte man. My everyday carry is my Glock 45
I can conceal my Canik Mete SFX with no issues here in Southern Arizona
I have the p365xl and love it, also have the m&p shield 45 as my edc for now and love it as well, will prolly look into a holster for the SIG soon enough to start carrying as well
per the intro: "it's hot, can't edc a full size..."
May I introduce the Hawaiian style shirt. Can be found in all colors, solids to prints, with SPF protections too.
I switch between my sig p365 in a we the people holster and my shadow systems xr 920 in my trex arms sidecar 2.0 with the extra mag attachment. My edc knife is the Benchmade Auto Stryker.
Summer: Hellcat Pro, Winter: Glock G20
