As a person that has suffered from very bad anxiety, I do not see anything wrong with Jake's tweet.
MonsterRacing 22 as someone with anxiety as well, it was so hard to cope with it at first. I always felt that there was something wrong with me until I got help for it and putting out this notion that it’s all in your head makes people who have anxiety or any other mental illness feel like it’s their fault for feeling like that.
There was absolutely nothing wrong with it. It's literally just a tweet. Everyone was overanalyzing it and picking out everything bad they could say about it and exaggerating what he said.
I see why it got to people because Jake was saying that it’s our “choice” to “not” have anxiety, but really it’s our choice if it gets worse or better. So therefore it didn’t effect me either but I see how it did others

First of all, I want to give props to Logan. The way he handles these issues and the type of person he has become in 2020 is just amazing compared to 2017. He is gaining the well earned respect of literally everyone, including KSI. This podcast was very mature and thoughtful, they were careful to choose their words, and supported Jake the whole time. Keep up the hard work guys!

As a person who’s personally struggled with anxiety my whole life, I saw Jakes tweet and instantly I felt for him.. I knew that his tweet was coming from his heart.. everyone deals differently with mental health.. he wasn’t putting the tweet out to pitty others. His intentions were still for good, and his incorrect information stemmed from a lack of awareness on the topic. This provided an opportunity for him to be corrected and educated, however the overall response seemed to be of hate purely because he is Jake Paul.

i’m not “fan” of jake paul, only just got introduced to him because of his brother who i’ve only just recently started watching because of logan’s turn around and he will probably never see this, but jake, you, much like Justin Bieber were given the world at a young age and no one told you how to calm down or how to control it. if you had anxiety, all of the fame and money and everything else definitely made it worse. i can relate to that. i only recently stopped drinking and i was a heavy drinker because of my anxiety. every one of my relationships failed at the scene, ruined professional relationships because i thought because i had money i can do anything. i ended up completely alone. it took me a lot to come back up. and the worse part is since my parents died and i inherited everything, everyone looked at me as a 24 year old kid lashing out for no reason and that i had no reason to be upset or depressed or have anxiety. i really struggled with trying to find the right people. but that was what helped me. conversation. you seem like a great kid jake, and i wish you nothing but the best. as for your lawsuits, been there too, all you can do is ride it out man. you’ll bounce back.

im 18 and when jake said that he gets numbed by the pain now, it hit so hard. this winter break was probably one of the worst mental states i’ve ever been in and i went numb from the pain. so many things piled on top of everything i almost couldn’t take it anymore. i was hurt by my friends, people i thought cared about me, college decisions, and i felt like everything was against me. in the last couple of weeks though i’ve been searching for ways to feel better everyday and i can say that the numbness has started to dim, but i know it’ll be there if i don’t keep my head up. meditation helped me personally and i want to say that there is always something or someone that can help you too, no matter how hard it gets.
I just want to point out, Mike has been a real angel to all these people in both logan and jakes life. He's a man who hunbled himself to his mental health and confronted it, talked openly about it and gave others room and support to talk about it openly in this celebrity social media sphere.
he's of course not entirely responsible for the growth of logan and others, but he's a massive contribution to the change toward realness from the image we had in the past

It's just bitterness. It's hard when you're struggling constantly to pay rent, get a car, pay for food, clothes, etc. and live life in general to see someone with what appears to have everything complaining. But what people don't look at is how relative it is. I have financial problems but I have parents who let me live at home until I can get a better job and move out. I can't afford a car but I have a dad and brother who will give me rides when I need them. Yes I am in debt and have a lot of financial issues and sometimes worry I'll never get stable, so in comparison to Jake Paul I have every right to complain about mental illness right? What about in comparison to someone with no family, no transportation, no food on the table or anything? Do I suddenly lose my right to complain and struggle? No.

Yh, everyone struggles. But to complain is just to waste your own time. When your struggling you got to objectively look at your own behaviour and decision making. Partly so you can prevent more struggle, and partly so you can pick yourself apart, and change yourself so when you're next struggling, you're stronger. Never complain or fish for sympathy, although it temporarily soothes it prevents you from taking good out of your pain and improving yourself. Everyone struggles and everyone has the right to complain, but you're doing yourself a disservice. A lot of people who are doing worse than you materially in life are 10x happier than you because they never got to be ungreatful and their minds are stronger because of their struggles. That should serve as a pretty good example for us to NEVER complain or feel sorry for ourselves. You strengthen through your pain and you learn how to play your cards better. A much better alternative to being pitied.

What Jake Paul said about him not knowing he had anxiety really hit home for me. I’m 18 and I just found out that I suffer from extreme anxiety. I had always thought that I was different and that it was just me and that it was all in my head but never in my years of being alive did I think I would be unlucky and damaged enough to have a mental illness.

There is a professional psychiatrist from harvard on youtube called healthygamergg, who does casual talks and interviews with people live on twitch, The people are dealing with anxiety or depression and he trys to help them. It would be really nice if you could get him on the podcast or if you can join him in his Streams and talk about everything. I think what you are mentioning in the podcast is incredibly important for many people and combining it with a professional could be huge.

I really feel for this kid. No matter who you are, anxiety is still anxiety. I really feel like the Paul brothers get WAY worse criticism than deserved. We are all just people trying to make it in this weird life. As someone who lives with anxiety every day, I did not take any offence to his tweet, and to be honest, I totally agreed with it. Us humans must all be on the same team, and it just sucks that we're not. All the best dude, just keep doing what you're doing, be kind to people and trust that it all really does get better as long as you make work of putting you, your loved ones and your mental health first.

when you hate someone they can't do anything right in your eyes and when you love someone they can't do anything wrong in your eyes. the problem wasn't the tweet, it was the person who was saying it. if someone like jenna marbles wrote that tweet she wouldn't get trolled for it, people would say its not quite right but still agree with it. because jake built himself up to be a hate figure, this is the result. people will look for any chance to mock him. thats why they say your reputation goes before you.

Seeing Jake cry like that broke my heart. If I could give you a hug my dude I would. Just know there are people who still support you and want to see you become the best you can be, you have the potential.
And Logan, you have come such a long way, you were always a good person you just made some mistakes like we all do, nobody is perfect. But you are truly on a good path now and radiating such a positive outlook to your fans and listeners. Jake is lucky to have you as his brother, you are about the only person who really knows what he is going through and can help him through it and get on the right path. But remember that you can't help someone who won't help themselves. Until Jake is ready to make that effort and make those changes all your advice will fall on deaf ears.
It seems like he realizes he has these issues, but he's unsure what to do to fix things or work on becoming a better person, he really needs support and guidance now more than ever like you did after Japan. It's a hard one, I work within mental health, I speak for well know organisations and help run a charity that surrounds mental health. Two of some of the largest causes of mental illnesses like anxiety are lack of control and isolation. Two of which Jake will be experiencing right of this moment. I've been through a lot of comments, and there is a lot of support. Sadly for every 100 good ones there will be 1 or 2 bad comments and they are the ones that anyone will focus on if they are experiencing what Jake is.
If there is anything I can do, even if it's just an hour chat over the internet. Let me know. Keep working hard.
I love the maturity of this podcast, you can see how everyone is growing and maturing especially Logan! I think I understand where you’re coming from, financial struggle, lack of resources, even lack of opportunity, make things that much more complex for people like probably you & i. The alleviation of struggle & worry of working a job you are treated poorly at & work long hours, having to race home to feed your kids bc youre in a single parent household & theyre home alone after school, all the while ignoring your own needs/wants/desires & living in a state of constant exhaustion bc of this life, (examples, may or may not pertain to you at all) would be much easier with the financial means to hire help, always be able to buy clothes & necessities when theyre needed, have medical insurance to address your own health, continue to have a working vehicle, knowing you can send your kids to college, etc. But a person can still ache & be in pain. This is an excellent topic to bring to light & for people to be open, honest, & vulnerable, speaking on their own experiences, shouldnt be made to feel less than. I dont think that helps anyone on either end. While i dont know the entire history/career of jake paul, (my son watches) he’s still permitted to feel, live, learn, & fail along the way. Just as we all are. We need to try to come together & work together to heal. I am sorry for any pain or suffering you may be feeling. It’s torturous, i know, & i hope nothing but goodness for you. People, as a whole, need to try & stop perpetuating a cycle of hate & negativity cast upon others for sharing their experiences, esp. when we ourselves may be suffering & identity with this pain.
