Looks like ARRMA and M2C Racing struck a deal. ARRMA kept the T6061 aluminum and let it bend under extreme conditions and let M2C make a chassis the same thickness out of T7075 aluminum to keep them rolling out the after market chassis. ARRMA could have used T7075 and kicked M2C outta the market. Win win for both. Either way, if it passes the "DUDE" test, it's TOUGH!!!

Awesome!!! But usually when you have a heavier truck and want to launch it high you go UP in oil weight in the shocks. I have a dozen 1/5th scale trucks and run between 60-100wt shocks oil for higher jumps. Why do you like lighter shock oil. It’s counter intuitive. Explain. Thanks! And great videos man.

I actually bent my m2c Outcast chassis, and my Max6/1650kv combo bent my m2c motor mount😳. The chassis was bent downward on the rear tail. Think I landed on a sidewalk edge at the skatepark, and my motor was bent up not down, which makes me think it had to be from torque. Not Mitch's fault, tough as nails to bend either back. But she's back to newish and smooth as butter. 👍💪

I think the 5034 are 1/2” shorter and about an 1”more narrow. I’d be good with them but wanted your input also. I asked rich but it’s been a while and nothing. Thanks in advance bro!!

I'm honestly thinking about trying the PowerHobby Raptor 1/5 belted tire. There is two different tread designs for off road. I'll probably pick up a set soon and see how they do!😎👊

Well I like to basically reinforce the body with mesh drywall tape and shoe goo then go over that with Gorilla tape. Sometimes like this body I just do the whole inside with Gorilla tape and use a heat gun to melt the glue. Makes it pretty solid!😎👊

Thanks I will try your methods because I never hear body rattle on any of your crazy high jumps. @@RCDUDE81 Dude I put the gorilla tape and used some heat and it's 1000 times better! Sounds so solid. Ive done tape on my other non arrma rc bodies and they still rattled alot. The extra body thickness plus tape makes a world of difference. Who knew all i needed was an arrma and gorilla tape to get rid of that annoying rattle noise. Finally, I was so jealous watching your videos. I must've spent near 100$ trying different things, foam body mount pads Plasti dip flex seal foam pool noodles. Thanks again have a great holiday man
Hey man she is really a tank now for sure. I've been very interested in the release date or even ballpark estimate as to when Mitch @ m2c racing may release this 1/7 mojave chassis... I'm very eager to start a hybrid build as I own a bunch of 1/8 arena rigs but I'm hesitant to buy the Mojave NIB when I've got so many parts already to build a really fun tough basher just a bit bigger than what I'm used to running. Any idea when I should be ready with my reminder set to try and get my hands on the much anticipated Mojave m2c chassis brother? Dont worry I'm not going to hold you to any specifics just want to be prepared as I have been doing my best bvb to be patient for its release🤞🤔🤷♂️🤯 Thsnks as as lm w as ys for the incredible bashing vids/informative content in which you consistantly provide us with.🍻
So i received my K8, so your saying i should to fix the shocks, change the center diff oil, replace the chassis, the motor mount, the motor, the pinion and the esc to make this nice and reliable to use like this, oh gotta add them sealed bearings too, boy i got my work cut out for me now. So much for RTR.
Well, all changes are completely subjective and depends on your bashing style/habits. I made these changes to suit how I bash but this truly is a nice truck out of the box. I would recommend a chassis change though and you should be good! All other tweaks are up to you to get the feel you want!
I'm not putting Kraton down or any rc trucks I bash a lot not as hard like y'all but my xmaxx is holding up great I've broken arms and it's still stock
@@RCDUDE81 but a chassis change will probably set you back $200 to $300 on top of the $900 + shipping. Probably the most disappointing aspect of this car has been the electronics. Having said that changing the electronics will set you back another $250 to $300 then add a pair of good batteries and you are around $1600. Anyone wanting one should just wait for a used one, save a bit and upgrade.
Any clue on the price for this chassis ? Now that's the truck its supposed be, Iv'e said all along what was needed for this truck from day one , all these upgrades make it very pricey ?

Now I run Zeee 6000mah 100c. And been testing the Gens Ace 6800mah 120c packs. I've had great luck out of the Zeee packs as far as power and longevity.
Looks epic, cant wait to test one! All we need now is rpm to get on the case and some better shock shafts and boom!

Looks like ARRMA and M2C Racing struck a deal. ARRMA kept the T6061 aluminum and let it bend under extreme conditions and let M2C make a chassis the same thickness out of T7075 aluminum to keep them rolling out the after market chassis. ARRMA could have used T7075 and kicked M2C outta the market. Win win for both. Either way, if it passes the "DUDE" test, it's TOUGH!!!

Awesome!!! But usually when you have a heavier truck and want to launch it high you go UP in oil weight in the shocks. I have a dozen 1/5th scale trucks and run between 60-100wt shocks oil for higher jumps. Why do you like lighter shock oil. It’s counter intuitive. Explain. Thanks! And great videos man.

I actually bent my m2c Outcast chassis, and my Max6/1650kv combo bent my m2c motor mount😳. The chassis was bent downward on the rear tail. Think I landed on a sidewalk edge at the skatepark, and my motor was bent up not down, which makes me think it had to be from torque. Not Mitch's fault, tough as nails to bend either back. But she's back to newish and smooth as butter. 👍💪

I was using stock yes. They are pretty tough but if you land hard and wonky on rocks or un even surfaces they can break. Maybe I've been lucky😂

Hey bro, great video, nice upgrades as well! What do you recommend for tires bro? Other than stock, I know duperbash is running the six pack 5022 but I can’t find them anywhere. I think the 5034 are 1/2” shorter and about an 1”more narrow. I’d be good with them but wanted your input also. I asked rich but it’s been a while and nothing. Thanks in advance bro!!

What do you do to stop body rattle on your landings? Your rc sound so solid. Ive tried a few things with little success. Any tips will be appreciated.
Well I like to basically reinforce the body with mesh drywall tape and shoe goo then go over that with Gorilla tape. Sometimes like this body I just do the whole inside with Gorilla tape and use a heat gun to melt the glue. Makes it pretty solid!😎👊

Thanks I will try your methods because I never hear body rattle on any of your crazy high jumps. @@RCDUDE81 Dude I put the gorilla tape and used some heat and it's 1000 times better! Sounds so solid. Ive done tape on my other non arrma rc bodies and they still rattled alot. The extra body thickness plus tape makes a world of difference. Who knew all i needed was an arrma and gorilla tape to get rid of that annoying rattle noise. Finally, I was so jealous watching your videos. I must've spent near 100$ trying different things, foam body mount pads Plasti dip flex seal foam pool noodles. Thanks again have a great holiday man

I'm very eager to start a hybrid build as I own a bunch of 1/8 arena rigs but I'm hesitant to buy the Mojave NIB when I've got so many parts already to build a really fun tough basher just a bit bigger than what I'm used to running. What gearing are you running 25 pinion and what spur
So i received my K8, so your saying i should to fix the shocks, change the center diff oil, replace the chassis, the motor mount, the motor, the pinion and the esc to make this nice and reliable to use like this, oh gotta add them sealed bearings too, boy i got my work cut out for me now. So much for RTR.
@james s It's part of it, you have to pay so much to buy it, then just as much to make it run like it should out of the box.
Well, all changes are completely subjective and depends on your bashing style/habits. I made these changes to suit how I bash but this truly is a nice truck out of the box. I would recommend a chassis change though and you should be good! All other tweaks are up to you to get the feel you want!
I'm not putting Kraton down or any rc trucks I bash a lot not as hard like y'all but my xmaxx is holding up great I've broken arms and it's still stock
@@RCDUDE81 but a chassis change will probably set you back $200 to $300 on top of the $900 + shipping. Probably the most disappointing aspect of this car has been the electronics. Having said that changing the electronics will set you back another $250 to $300 then add a pair of good batteries and you are around $1600. Anyone wanting one should just wait for a used one, save a bit and upgrade.

What batteries you run
Now I run Zeee 6000mah 100c. And been testing the Gens Ace 6800mah 120c packs. I've had great luck out of the Zeee packs as far as power and longevity.
