9:25 Im not sure about root breaking, usually shapeshifting as druid lets you run over any rooting traps and clear all but this debuff roots you in shapeshifted form, then you have to change form again and go to another root and do it again... takes SO MUCH time to clear all
The frontal locks into place so you are able to sidestep it, though since there isnt a ton of tank damage on the first boss some tank specs can just use a defensive to prevent the boss from moving too much and give melee better uptime.
My god i feel the swirlies on Xavius. I was like constantly moving and couldn't stop the stacks on the boss this week in tyran. Like you said, we need hit box fix or just slow down their falling rate.
For addons I have a full list of everything in my discord, for the WA it's actually made by my co-tank and you can grab it on his wago profile: wago.io/p/Krll
I did 20 DHT last night on my pala(451 ilvl). Got wrecked on Oakheart. Di it on my dh and bear, without any issues at all. Should be easier with some more ilvl, but it feels like ardent or eye of tyr by itself is almost not enough.
Yeah it's definitely tough as a pally as your big immune CDs don't work, though apparently if you drop consecrate in the centre of the bosses hitbox just before the grip you'll retain the benefits of it during the actual grip damage which is a nice boost!
@@Tactyksthat is true about consecration, one thing to note is if you haven't put it down and he grips you, if you use consecration while in the air you should actually see it get placed down in the middle of the hitbox, so you don't need to do it beforehand, although you'll obviously take a tick of damage first most likely.
Yep good note in general, until the charge is in motion the boss will adjust and lock on to your position, strafing is definitely the most consistent thing to do!
yea I made that experience yesterday and me and my party werent amused, thats y I was looking up a guide in the first place and found the answer in the comments, thank you! 😊
Also you can hamstring the first boss and it actually slows the boss. I’m not sure if it’s intended to work though because no other slows work that I know of
Hahaha yep those cats definitely still hurt if they all target the same person, definitely recommend popping a personal a few seconds into the cat pulls as a ranged player!
this little piece of education just 'guided me' to manage a timed 20 on tyrannical ehehe thank you good sir!
That's awesome, glad I was able to help!

You can have you group stack the roots (since they are player baited) and break them all with a single shapeshift!
As a melee dps, standing inside Dresaron's hitbox makes it easier to push against the wind.
Great tip!
Yo, thank you for making these detailed videos, very helpful!
Of course, happy to help and glad you enjoy them!
Great vid! What is the mythic timer addon you're using?
It's a WeakAura made by Reloe, you can grab it here:

@@Tactyks Perfect, thank you!
@@robhosner5784 No problem!
You see if youre tanking and the charge goes toward you can you just sidestep it? Or do you have to use a defensive?

what addons are you using for the tiny threat and the mobs nameplates that turn green like that
Tiny Threat is a module for Details, whereas the nameplates I'm using is Plater.

Yep, hoping to see fixes to that and Oakheart's grip ASAP!
What addons and wa are you using? I have a pally tank as well, and I love the timers, the bars, and your over all ui.

Does Spellward work vs Grip ? (it is nature damage)
After the recent fixes both Divine Shield and Spellward now work on the grip!

thats great actually, ty@@Tactyks

@@daleecco4970 Also a great tip!
im still trying to figure out how to deal with Oakheart on higher keys.
Gonna be a tough boss for sure, especially if you dont have great ways to clear the roots or outrange the frontal!
Same here. Outside of focus healing from the healer, it feels like he chews straight through my Veng DH in Meta form...
the charge from that first boss if u are a DH dont infernal strike away that crap it will follow u. just strafe away

Found that out the hard way!
Do you plan to do these for maybe 25s or higher?
20s are so easy and free right now, every mediocre pug is doing them
Yup, will post 0.1% title key walkthroughs once we start pushing after raid progress is done!
The GOAT
As a healer the hardest part of the dungeon on a +20 was and still is rip from cats at the start 🤣 even on tyrannical
