Stellaris tutorial Playlist at time of 30.12.2024. 30 videos each averaging 35 minutes, first video 1 hour, second 40 min. all in all: 18 HOURS OF TUTORIALS. 18 HOURS!
New over-age-50 Stellaris player here. Great overview! I'll continue watching the rest of them. This game was recommended by an acquaintance with 1500 hours in the game...but I nearly abandoned it in the first hour of attempted play. Glad I found all these great tutorials!
Oh wonderful! I'm so glad you are finding this series to be helpful :) Yeah, it's got a lot going on so I am trying to show as much as I can here to be thorough and not overwhelming haha
Great guide! I've had this game in my Steam library for over a year and have gotten overwhelmed every time I try to play using the in-game tutorials. Still, I've really wanted to get into the game. Thanks for taking the time to put this together--the pacing is great, points are clear, and it's much less overwhelming. Looking forward to watching the rest of the episodes.
OK, I can't begin to tell you how helpful this first episode has been to understanding how to approach Stellaris and getting a clue about the actual fun in the complexity of the game as game time rolls on! I've had the game (and several of its DLCs) in my library for a long time now and could never really get into it. I feel that is going to change now! I plan to watch your entire series in this playlist. Thank you so much!
Oh awesome! I am so glad you are finding this series to be helpful :D Yeah, I was overwhelmed by this game at first and still have a bunch to learn as it's so massive, but it gets much better when you actually know what's going on haha ;D
I've been playing this game for about a year now and I *never* realized you could lock in tool tips by staying on them for long enough! This is a great video, I'm looking forward to watching the rest of the series!
Anyone new coming in this is a awesome guide! I bought this game didnt really understand it but had a blast playing the past 4 hrs! Damn asteroid killed half of a settlement still good tho lmao!
Haha, yeah, the events are what make this game great. Further in this series, I pull an alternate Earth into this dimension using a portal and just get to have 2 Earths haha. It's wild!
Thanks! U are really a good teacher for this game. I already learned a lot on this first video and looking forward to watch and learn on the next videos 😊
New player here. Thanks for this! May even be a better series than the tutorial from Max the Catfish - which wasn't bad - because you explain things at a fundamental level. What stuck out particularly was your comment on setting goals for your playthrough.
I am so glad you have been finding this series to be helpful! I loved the Max the Catfish tutorial series--he's super knowledgeable and taught me a lot. It's great to be able to add to the guide material out there to help get more people into this amazing game :)
Hello! Here I am again. You helped me so much with your Medieval Dynasty Playlist and now I'm here for Stellaris! I'm happy to be back and using you as a coworker who talks all day about the games we play lol
@@DrIncompetent it's a ton of fun. I just realized you have a ton of videos for other games that I've been trying to learn (Satisfactory, frostpunk, don't stave, faster than light, city skylines)
@@DrIncompetent Yes i already enjoy it, i see it also as a mental training. Again a well made video and the compliment comes from someone who is going to release a programming course on Udemy. Not to brag but it gives a compliment a bit more value
Hello again. Glad to see you did this as I enjoyed your Factorio tutorial too. One minor request, could you sort the play list because at the moment it plays in a funny order, like it goes backwards or to another video not in sequential order :)
@@DrIncompetent Awesome thanks! Do you think you will ever play Satisfactory? I was saying to someone how your Factorio tutorial was great as it was a genuine beginners guide and didn't focus on spoiling things and optimal layouts etc. Searched to see if you played it but alas.
Yes! I love the game! I have a let's play and a beginner's guide for it, but it is hard to find stuff on YT as I have so many videos haha. Here is the beginner's Guide playlist: ruclips.net/p/PLLZqXZAwfuGd0pzoqcrGIZJpJFiiD1QMP
@@DrIncompetent Thank you. I swear I searched in the channel video bit, maybe I made a typo or something lol. Just want some of the basics before 1.0 drops next week or so.
Hi! Thank you for posting these vids. Could you please rename the playlist to "Stellaris | 2024 Guide for Complete Beginners" so that it is easier to find the 2024 version? Thanks!!! 🤗
I saw this game was like $4 on steam, so I decided to see how long a tutorial video would be. If I get into this game, I'm NEVER getting anything else done lmao
The Discord Link is not working.... But I am enjoying the tutorial as I am debating about Getting the Game either as a single game no DLC or the Beginner pack.
Ah bummer, I'll look into the Discord link ASAP! Thanks for letting me know! I have yet to get a DLC and love the game--am looking forward to trying one someday ;D

Great video, I'm going to follow along with the rest of the playlist as this game always fascinated me but I could never grasp it. Thanks for sharing.

As an old and now returning player of Stellaris, this is very useful, I basically forgot everything about this game 😅 glad to follow along

Great video. I have been putting off playing this game bc how intimating it looks. Can't wait to drive into this game and watch rest of your series
Haha, yes! I was intimidated at first for sure but really fell in love when I got into the game!

Awesome! I am so glad you are finding these videos helpful; there is a lot to cover with Stellaris! :)
Watched one of these 25+ hour long tutorial series for Hearts of Iron 4, loved Stellaris so I’m sitting through this one too
Haha, awesome! I hope you enjoy it! :D
I'm really glad these videos exist.
Thank you for watching :D
Just bought the game in the Winter Sale and the start/set up screen looks different but all that aside, this tutorial is amazing. Thank you.
Oh, maybe the update changed it! I hope you are enjoying the game :)
Thank you looking forward to following along

this is just perfect video and fun to watch thanks
Awesome! So glad you enjoyed it! Hope you are having fun with the game :)
This video is so good! My only recommendation would be to ask if you could record in 1440p or 4k, just so the text in the game is easier to read.
Thank you for watching! I hope you are enjoying the game :D

Thank you for the guide ❤

Oh no! I don’t like it when I’m early to a series and have to wait for new episodes.
I’m looking forward to this!
Haha, I know what you mean ;D new episode tomorrow! 🤣
Excelente tutorial !!!! .. que bien que explicas todo. Muchas gracias.

Haha, yes! The game definitely has that effect. Goodbye week. Haha
I just downloaded the game...this guide will help me "eat the elephant" so to speak :).
Haha, awesome! Yeah, it's a bit of an elephant for sure, but so fun once you get going! I hope you enjoy it!

Will this guide also help console players just not sure how different the PC version is to the console version
Yes! It's the same game--some of the keybinds will be different, that's all!
I did a run through. Now I would like to add 3 x DLC to my next run through. What 3 would people suggest?
Great question! I'd love to hear what everyone says about this!
Is this guide still useful for learning how to play Stellaris today, given the large time gap?
I think so! Not much has changed with the fundamentals. Mostly new DLC which are not part of the guide.
bla bla ends at 2:40 - actual game starts at 13:13
Haha, thanks for watching! :D I hope you are enjoying the game!
@@DrIncompetent thanks for the guide :)
