I'm having a difficult time understanding what Mighty Network's transaction fee is. Are they taking 2% in addition to what my Stripe account is taking? Or are they saying if I use my own Stripe account, there are no transaction fees, but if I use THEIR payment feature there are fees? This language is very confusing and I haven't been able to find anyone to clarify this for me. Here is what their site says " If you choose to use our payments feature, then yes, there is a small transaction fee that’s taken by Mighty Networks on every purchase. If you’re on the Business Plan, the fee is 2%, and on the Community Plan it’s 3%.
Mighty Network's transaction fee is on top of the Stripe fee and happens when taking payment through the platform. Stripe takes the MN transaction fee out of the payment and remits it to them. Currently only members of a network can access things inside. There is an update planned to be released in June that will allow hosts to create a Space that can be accessed outside of network membership.
@@ChadlyCreativeConsulting thank you! I appreciate your quick response and look forward to that. Do you know when, by chance? I ask since June is halfway over.

Curious if you could share the difference between a private and a premium network? I can't find much information about premium and am not sure which is best. Thank you!

Let's say I have a paid network. If I want to run a 7 day challenge (workshop) and I'm bringing in new people. They will need to become both a new member and also pay for the challenge/course. It doesn't seem like mighty networks separates this out. Let's say I charge $20/month for membership and $40 for the course. How would I set up pricing so that they will pay for each and then automatically go into the monthly fee? thankyou.
There are different ways to do this. Here is a video with one way. This is a private network but the strategy can be adapted to paid ruclips.net/video/0wmQHHacJ7I/видео.html
Hello and thank you for your in-depth and informative video. I have a question that I can't seem to find an answer to. I wanna create a learning space where the students will need to have access but the parents will have to purchase their subscriptions. How is that going to work? The parent will have to make registration with their e-mail address so they can get the payment details and reminders there sure which excludes the option of adding their children's emails in the registration process, right? Is there a way of doing that in an easy and meaningful way? I hope you understand what I mean 😅Thank you in advance and have a great day! 😄
The platform does not currently support having one email address for account ownership/payment and other(s) for using the account. You would have to organize and control that outside of the platform.
I've literally just created my free Mighty Network but have decided I want to create a paid membership. I have one person who has joined and am about to market my network to build more of an audience. How do I manage this switch with the person that has joined? Do they receive a notification that now invites them to pay or can I create a new plan and allow them to upgrade if they want to? TIA
When a network is changed to Paid, the MN platform automatically creates a hidden free plan and moves existing members to it. Some people leave prior members as free and others have them start paying. What to do and how to do it depends on your specific situation. A good way to keep up on what is happening to your members is to set up a member view for yourself. This video shows how - ruclips.net/video/_O1AK15REyU/видео.html

You're welcome!
Wondering if I have a paid membership community with no free option, and I create a course, can folks who are not members access the course at all?
