The bad news is that we have all sinned against God and are destined for eternal punishment in Hell on our current trajectory. The good news, though, is that God sent His only Son-Jesus Christ-in human form to live the perfect life that we could not live and died on the cross for all the sins of our lives (past, present, and future). Then, He was resurrected by God on the third day, which proved that He was the Son of God and that His sacrifice had been accepted by God; and He was seen by over 500 witnesses after His resurrection. All we must do to go to Heaven and be saved from our sins is to believe in Jesus-believe that He is the Son of God, who died, was buried, and rose from the dead for all the sins of our life. It’s an act of will where we place our trust in Him alone and His finished work on the cross as the payment for our sins. Salvation is a free gift from God that is fully paid for by Jesus, with no good works required; all we must do is accept it through faith in Jesus. After we place our faith in Jesus, we receive the Holy Spirit, which guarantees we are saved and will spend eternity in heaven with Him.
Below are some good Bible verses from the New King James Version translation that illustrate this good news:
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)
[Jesus said] “...he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.” (John 5:24)
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” (John 14:6).
But now God has shown us a way to be made right with him without keeping the requirements of the law...We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ...For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. Yet God, in his grace, freely makes us right in his sight. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins. For God presented Jesus as the sacrifice for sin. People are made right with God when they believe that Jesus sacrificed his life, shedding his blood...God did this to demonstrate his righteousness, for he himself is fair and just, and he makes sinners right in his sight when they believe in Jesus. Can we boast then, that we have done anything to be accepted by God? No, because our acquittal is not based on obeying the law. It is based on faith. (Romans 3:21-27)
But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. (Romans 5:8-11)
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6:23)
If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, "Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame." (Romans 10:9-11)
And since it [salvation] is through God’s kindness, then it is not by their good works. For in that case, God’s grace would not be what it really is-free and undeserved. (Romans 11:6)
In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory. (Ephesians 1:13-14)
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9)
For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him. (1 Thessalonians 5:9-10).

I bought one of these pieces of shit last week and have been playing with it completely normal for the last week. Tonight I wake the thing up and it won't connect at all. I've done all the fixes and all the resets 15 times over, and it still won't connect. For a device as basic as this is, you shouldn't have to jump through hoops just for the one feature this thing has to work. Im returning it. Fuck Sony and their bullshit.

Man i have tried EVERYTHING under the sun and my portal still won't connect. Restarted both, same wifi network, plugged portal into ps5, used phone Hotspot, entered rest mode, legit everything and nothing seems to be working. Was really hoping to use it tonight before bed but I guess not. Really not sure what the issue is

Same here. It connected but it was all buffering slowly then it popped off
It was working totally fine for the past week, even earlier today at work I was playing. Now it won’t connect to my work WiFi or my hotspot, no matter how many times I delete the network and add it again. Unless I accidentally turned it off instead of going on rest mode last time I was playing, this makes no sense.
Same now I'm stuck 5 days camping at night with nothing to do because sony has to make bullshit
The PS portal is for playing from any where and you are not explaining how to fix the issue of connecting from the out of the network
Mine connects fine at home. Just can’t use it on public wifi because it doesn’t have a browser so you can accept terms of service, and doesn’t work reliably on wifi hotspot. Bought it on PlayStation store so I’m basically stuck with a $200 paperweight.

Hi there my ps portal turns my ps5 on from rest mode but it doesn’t actually get a connection like it shows that something went wrong and the only way it does work is from hotspot so I would appreciate if you could tell me how to make it work on my home wifi

This stupid portal doesn’t work. Completely useless. I’ve had it since it came out and used it once. I’ve tried everything in this video, even called my internet provider to see if they can remove or allow me access pass the firewall. I bought this thing thinking I can use it on the go… completely useless. It worked one time when I did a factory reset on the portal but no longer works after the first game play.

I bought a ps portal, but I am confused. Can we acess ps5 using portal when console is completely is rest mode or should it be turned on like normal to have acess. The reason why I am asking is because I can use my portal only when my console is online than on rest mode, please help. Thank you
It should work when ps5 is on rest mode, just make sure in power options connected to wifi in rest mode is turned on
Funny thing , first couple of weeks the portal was working excelent . Ps5 connected via ethernet cable 1/gb upload 1/gb dowlnoad. The portsl was working fine on the same network at home, over my hot spot from cell phone . Now the only thing I can do is wake up the console from rest mode and it gets stuck on the screan press buton as in use a controller. Another funny thing the ps remote play app sometimes work on my phone the other day it does not work. And the second ap ps play always work on any android device wtf is wrong ?
I have my host pot i’m home right now, my PS5 is connected to my home wifi and The Portable To my host pot. Literally they are 1 feet away from each other and i still can’t get my portable paired with my ps5 to play games, i believe that you have to have PS5 connected to the same wifi as the Portable.
Contact support , use both on hotspot
Try restarting your PlayStation portal with the PS5 on and when the PlayStation Portal comes back on it should say ready to play
If it won’t connect . You must turn on your console with ps remote play from your phone . Then your ps portal should work now to connect
