Wow this is such a good video! The way you did the weather report gave me an idea for a suggestion for you: A video series where you legit just like trace maps of the world and maybe read off fun facts about the countries/states/cities/etc. I think that would be relaxing as hell.
I love the idea of a "Lloyd-verse", where there are multiple guys that look and speak similar, but with different occupations that better the town. Sounds like a place I'd like to live. 😁👍

By far the best asmr to fall asleep to and i appreciate all the hard work you put in to make these for us dont think for one second all your hard work goes unnoticed! very unique style that cant be compared to anyone else so again thank you for always being able to help me sleep at night!

@@LLOYDSASMR this is called “the proximity effect.” High and low audio frequencies bleed off faster over distance than do mid frequencies. Remember: sound level = 1/distance^2. So, if you move a mic twice as far away, it will sound four times quieter (a fourth as loud). Keep that in mind! I recommend never being more than 60” from any single mic. :)
There are a few exceptions to this. The earliest radio stations (and their companion TV stations) east of the Mississippi were able to keep the “K”. KDKA in Pittsburgh is a prime example. (It was the first radio station to broadcast.)

I think this is one of the cases that a lower quality mic would be a good choice over a high quality mic just because it would fit better. Still, this is a really good and original idea I hope we get to see more like this.
