I run sword with witch using gift of the raven. The damage on that deck is insane. Have taken out max inquis and level 11 cultists with that deck. Very pleasantly surprised when I first started using it.

Swords placed on boosted tiles. Right talent summoner to switch the unit when it clogs the board at high level. Witch is preferred over trapper because witch guarantees her bonus regardless of level. Trapper throws randomly and requires multiple pretzels to maximize armor loss. That randomness makes bosses more effective. Keep up the content. 😊

This is the one I run. But I wonder if The Witch on the buffed tile buffs the adjacent units? I use 3 swords because I don't want to instalose if warlock gets me. And I keep them at different ranks just in case GrandMaster is not destroyed fast enough
I agree mermaid is great if not able to reliably max the swords. The big thing it may be beneficial for at late games is the dark priest since cleansing is less reliable now. Once at max, grandmaster can't do anything to the sword itself. I'm not aware if witch gets boosted on tiles and transfers the boost further. That would be great if so, but it's not something I have ever considered or factored in.@@fgry3970
Played against a deck like this maybe 3 months ago. Swords as an offense is good but it'll have to be leveled up. Maybe lvl 11 with talents should do it but I'll find out when I get enough crystals.
Been climbing the ladder with max sword (LRR), max witch (RRR), summoner (R), max dryad (LRR) and harlequin. Rocking Mermaid lv 5 to deal with cleansing because everything else that cleanses is so inconsistent.

I'd limit to exactly 2 on tiles only. Never more if avoidable, IMO.

I love sword but I hate using it w witch. Takes up too much space, use the mine w a growth amulet and boost 2 swords w the merging
