Immersed in a colossal squall
The endless storm grows and evolves
With purpose to accelerate
The progression of the human race
Your mind enters a dimension of thought
Wisping forms flow through it
Just like a moon pulling the tide
The blackened ebb of Zeitgeist
It takes control of all your senses
Tightening its hold, it breaks your defenses
Cosmic Cortex
Bursting with gamma rays
Cosmic Cortex
You're pulsing through its veins
Cosmic Cortex
Will melt your brain
It takes its fears and makes them your own
And you become its drone
You're trapped between two hemispheres
Enveloped by the years
The brain cannot truly create
Only build upon its existing slate
So we expand our totality
A cranial, mass singularity
Taking control of all communications
Watch the Cortex grow
It's a mental infestation
Cosmic Cortex
Bursting with gamma rays
Cosmic Cortex
You're pulsing through its veins
Cosmic Cortex
Will melt your brain
Feel, Sense, Share
Breathe the looming atmosphere of
Hate, Doubt, Fear
Between the two hemispheres of
Self and Mass, Torn
To create within the same pulsing brain
That will claim to protect: The Cosmic Cortex
All that has passed
All thoughts amassed
Speed through the curve
Too far too fast
To resist is to be destroyed
Terror rises from the East
A neural web flowing like tidal debris
Versed, coerced, immersed
The Master Mind that shapes and turns this earth
The cosmic brain appears
As a celestial sphere
Grey matter that collects
Consciousness
The cosmic brain inscribes
Tidal minds
Grey matter that collects
And then infects
No one defies
The ever-growing mind
All thought exhumed in
The all-consuming Cosmic Cortex
Collect, infect
The fact that they are playing live and these songs actually sound like on the album is both unbelievable and amusing
Vektor.......Thrash from the future.
LOL!
The most underrated, under appreciated band in METAL.
cosmic cortex did melt my brain indeed
it's crazy how under-appreciated these guys are, one of my favourite, if not, my favourite band ever \m/
This band needs more recognition
David's vocals are so unique, I really hope he can keep his voice intact for a long time
This didn't age well
@@flavortown5124 yeah, very unfortunate, but i'm gonna listen in E Standard just the same.
@@ieb994 He still uses them in accents so he’s capable of doing it still. I can’t imagine it’s a very sustainable technique though, but maybe he’ll do more classic Vektor vocals on the upcoming album.
@@suylyath2658 that also did not age very well
@@Corgifunni how so? in all of the recent tours his vocals have been perfect.
STILL THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!
This guys are unbelievably good!
3:00 Dave's eyes: Here we go.
First time I ever saw Dave's eyes in years
wtf he has eyes???
I used to a Kreator fan because of the vocals /guitars, now I'm speechless watching these guys play this song. Bravo!
They was served an injustice as head of the Guard.....😢
SUPER TECHNICAL BAND WITH GREAT POWER THAT SOUNDS LIVE JUST LIKE IN THE RECORDING... IN THE LINE OF VOIVOD... THEY DESERVE MORE RECOGNITION.... LONG LIVE VEKTOR!!!
What's up St Vitus? WE ARE VEKTOR!!!
this shit can't possibly rip any hard, I'm sorry
This band is fantastic. The best of old and new at the same time. Hopefully on of the big dogs takes them out tour, they deserve to be HUGE.
David’s vocals are killer. Fucking heavy
Holy shit! I was just trying to teach myself this song, and I couldn't figure out how to get the notes in the intro to sustain like on the album. I come here and watch David play the arpeggio with hardly any movement, and it hit me: these guys tune a half-step up. ?!?!
good fuckin lord that was awesome
Сногсшибательная группа...
Страшная не злая музыка
Brilliant elements in one band
Great band one of my favorites. Erik Nelson's solos tho🎸
5:50 That riff has the power to make roadkill out of an elephant. O.O
bad fucken ass
3:02 Hoooooly
They nailed the shit out of it, great performance, awesome band.
Do you know if Vektor are still together? I heard allegedly that they are not around anymore
@@victorocampo6970 I wish I knew. I haven't heard anything for years now sadly.
@@DeadGlassEyes That is a shame. Very good band!!!
@@victorocampo6970 One of the best thrash has ever seen to be honest. I would love to hear more. But even if their last album was their last, that's one hell of a way to go out.
@@DeadGlassEyes I agree. Never got a chance to see them live but have seen many great thrash bands in my 52 years. I was fortunate enough to see Overkill and Exhorder heref in Southern California in February before the world changed
All treasures are hidden...
WOW!!!!!!!!
These guys are sick
Dat my guitar is a gun @ 1.40.
TRUE METAL !!!!!!
Amazing style !
